  1. Yes. Different name as they renamed it several years ago but same company. Keith
  2. Crystal Serenity and Symphony Digital Brochures. Keith Crystal Serenity Ship Brochure-1.pdf Crystal Symphony Ship Brochure-1.pdf
  3. This might not work but try going back to each one by clicking on them in the dashboard to see if that does anything. If not, log out and log back in. See if that works. If that doesn't if you can take a screen shot I can pass it over to Crystal. They might come back to ask for your booking number and e-mail as they did with a few other people who wrote to me with that. But let's try all this first. I think you've been using smart devices and if you have you might want to try it with your computer. Keith
  4. We had the same issue. When we booked everything it sees it as one for that purpose. In fact, right now that is why those of us can't book the second set of reservations. But yes I had to just say staying around the port. Keith
  5. This is true of most boards except some have more or less active posters. I am reminded what Captain Glenn used to say. If you want to have a good time you will. If you don't you won't. We all come at things a little differently. Some focus more on the positives and that goes well beyond cruising and some forward more on the negatives. I see it as part of ones personality rather than a slant. Not sure if you ever met someone who seemed to be happy by finding fault in things while another person finds happiness looking for the good in things. Happens on land. Happens at sea. Happens everywhere. So it goes. Keith
  6. Today, Crystal is announced the debut of Aurora Spa on-board Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony involving the redesign of the spas on-board both vessels. Also, for those of you who are booked on the first two Serenity cruises the reservation now allows you to make spa/salon appointments. You can sign into my account (well your account not mine) and look at reservations. In addition to shore excursions and restaurants there is a tab for the spa. For each date you can see the different categories available. From there click on one, then click on treatments available to see each one. It will show you the duration, pricing and description. You can click on the reserve button to select the guest, and the appointment time and it will show the duration once again. Crystal Announces Debut of Aurōra Spa A New Design and Bespoke Menu Sets the Scene for an Exceptional Wellness Experience at Sea MIAMI (June 15, 2023) - When guests board Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony for their inaugural sailings this summer, a newly redesigned spa concept awaits. 7. Don't blame me. 😀 If you sit at the bar in the Avenue Saloon on Crystal Serenity and look below you might see this assuming it hasn't been removed during dry dock. I promise. Anne Marie and I didn't do this. 🤣 We are innocent. Keith
  8. The one difference you should see which is positive is with a lower overall guest capacity on both ships due to the conversion of some rooms to suites, public venues will be less crowded than before including the dining venues. Keith
  9. Yes, Crystal is aware that those on the back to back cruise cannot make restaurant reservations for the second voyage if they have already made them at all three for their first voyage. They are working on getting this problem corrected. Keith
  10. Not covered by the Webinar but I see that under reservations they now show the spa as a category next to restaurants and excursions. While you can't book anything yet, it's not something I noticed the other day. Keith
  11. Bags packed. Ready to go. Can't wait.
  12. This was sponsored by our Travel Agency so I cannot post it on CC due to the rules. And the Q&A's are not to be posted either. Even with the webinar answers continue to come on a variety of questions such as ones I just added. Keith
  13. I am uncertain about this but certainly a good question to ask and I will do that when we are on board. With respect to your other question Nancy and Embowaf have it right. You have as good a chance of getting into a VR as anyone else does. My recommendation is to ask to see the Head Sommelier after you board to be sure you put in your name(s) for the VR. The number of VR's they offer varies by voyage and the length, itinerary and number of interested guests collectively factor into all of this. Keith
  14. Right now there is a problem with the dining reservations if you are on the back to back. It is not allowing you to make new reservations on that second cruise if you already booked them on the first cruise. I've reported it to Crystal. For dining reservations I have had two cancel two different times to change the reservations because you can only use the change button if you want to dine on the same night but a different time. The first time I did this it took a while but an hour ago I cancelled one other and it took me seconds. If you just want a different time for the same day try to go with the change button and if that does not work cancel the reservation and then book a new one. Keith
  15. OK so something to add about Crystal since no one has asked. Specialty Restaurant hours are as they were; 6:00 PM is first reservation time for Umi Uma and Osteria D'ovidio (earlier to say Prego but I am trying) and Tastes starts at 6:30 PM. I am ready to eat. Thank goodness I don't believe there was a soft question because if there was.....Well let's not even think about that. 😀 Keith
  16. The VR was casually mentioned when they mentioned dining venues. There will be a Vintage Room for sure. It is also mentioned on the website. All I have been told is it will be similar as before. Keith
  17. Cindy: Thank you so much. I will try to find it. Also learned this morning with the help of AI they are taking a song by John Lennon never before released and redoing it for release later this year. Keith
  18. Not open yet. In a few hours Keith
  19. Ivi, This one wasn't asked on the Webinar. We will know soon enough though. Keith
  20. One of the silent questions on last week's Webinar was whether the new Italian restaurant would have some of the signature dishes from Prego such as Carpaccio and Lamb Rack? The answer was not yet, but that is the intent and it is in the process of being implemented. When we're on board I'll plan to ask a little more about this. In the question the person didn't ask about the mushroom soup but I was told by someone who would know that the soup will be coming back. I don't know if that is on day one or later. Looking forward to trying out the new cuisine of this restaurant. On a personal basis glad that there will be new items to try. Keith
  21. Thank you for your very thoughtful comments. I do plan to continue to do detailed Blogs for each of our cruises with new Crystal and also plan to provide live updates on Cruise Critic. It is hard to believe that in late June of last year it was reported that the A&K travel group had purchased Serenity and Symphony and the name, customer database, etc. In 13 months and a few days Serenity sails with TA's and then a few days later the inaugural cruise begins and just over one month later Symphony begins its inaugural cruise. The amount of work to make this a reality is incredible. While we as guests are thrilled, I hear the same thing from land based members of Crystal as I do from returning crew. With so many returning crew and Crystal Society members the inaugural season for Crystal will truly be a reunion of sorts for everyone who is part of this One thing for sure I never gave up hope and always believed Serenity and Symphony would return and Crystal would come back.Yes, it returns as a new company but as I've often said Crystal evolved with each passing year and never stayed the same. I look forward to experiencing the best of old Crystal combined with the new that new Crystal has planned. It's all very exciting. Thank you again. Keith
  22. ep. I know as I have the written questions and answers but thank you for pointing this out. I have already addressed all of this today and previously. In short I have said Crystal has a record of all completed cruises (I noted this a couple of months ago and in the earlier post). Should someone want to verify their count they can have their TA contact Crystal or one can call them as well. As I noted the other day and less than 30 minutes ago Crystal cannot verify unused milestones as they have no records as to what was used and unused. And the new information that I posted which is new is that the plan is to use the Crystal Society Milestone program as of 2019. Keith
