  1. uh, did you read the policy? You can't bring on water in plastic bottles...
  2. Here ya go: Carnival’s Liquor and Beverage Policy states that guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in bottles. We know some of our guests are accustomed to bringing on board their own supply of bottled water, so for your convenience, bottled water can be pre-purchased prior to your cruise by visiting www.carnival.com/funshops. Water will be delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day. Bottled water may also be purchased on board by contacting Room Service. Once on board, your purchase is non-refundable; you may take home any unopened bottles. $9.95 USD (plus an 18% delivery fee) for a 12-pack of bottled water (16.9-ounce bottle/500-ml bottle) $3.95 USD (plus an 18% delivery fee) for 1 large bottled water (50.72-ounce bottle/1.5-liter bottle) $20.00 USD (plus an 18% delivery fee) for 8-pack of bottled water (50.72-ounce bottle/1.5-liter bottle) Carnival carries distilled water which can be purchased either pre-cruise or once on board. For pre-purchase, please contact our Fun Shops department at 800-522-7648, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-10:00pm ET and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am-6:00pm ET. For purchase on board, please contact Room Service. Should you wish to bring your own distilled water with you, it must be hand carried along with your CPAP machine. You can also bring in 12 cans of soda per person and adults can carry in a 750 ml bottle of wine. Sodas and wine must be carried in carry ons and not checked baggage.
  3. I was on the Panorama in Sept and there was guava juice in the morning. It's my favorite juice and I can't find it anywhere outside of carnival.
  4. I believe California is one of the few states that are minimum wage plus tips and not minimum wage minus tips
  5. geebus, talking about beating a dead horse...
  6. On the Panorama, Jiji's was free for lunch, but it was terrible IMHO. Limited options and not freshly made.
  7. seems like just another thing to complain about...
  8. We've brought my kids' friends on several cruises and were never asked about the legality of it. To be honest, we've never really thought about it...
  9. that's sad, the only time I eat breakfast is on a cruise or other vacation...and I really enjoy the custom omelettes...
  10. Again, "possibly" and I use all my gummies by the end of the cruise. It's all about planning. And I have no faith in the dogs. The dogs are not even feds or state, they sniffed my bag on the last cruise and found nothing. Although, I was a little stressed they'd find the gummies.
  11. Operative word being "can". I actually witnessed a guy being taken away at embark and saw him the next day on the lido deck. Out of curiosity, I asked him what happened and he said they found his weed. They took it way and said have a nice cruise. In this case, there has to be more to it as it's just CBD. The woman being banned was probably just a ragging karen to get banned.
  12. Yes, I have self control unlike some of my fellow cruisers. If you've never done gummies, not the CBD kind, there's nothing more amazing then stretching out on a chair and letting the ocean breeze flow over you...
  13. I never drink or do gummies when I'm in port. Most ports are dangerous places if you're not careful.
  14. Sneaking on gummies is no worse then sneaking on alcohol. It's a fun little game... For decades, I did rum runners and was caught once. Carnival laughed at me and took the booze away, but let me cruise. Since we get DOU, I no longer need to sneak on booze. Now, for about 6 or 7 years, I've been taking gummies and so far not been caught. Might rethink as it seems carnival is cracking down.
  15. Where did I say "contagious or something to be avoided?" Or, "aren't capable of having fun?" You said that, not me. I don't really relate to some people much older than me. Just like I can't really relate to my kids.
  16. To be honest, I don't find the lines all that different from each other. The main reason we sail Carnival is because of my kids. They love the kids programs, Water Works, Sky Zone, etc. My kids hated Celebrity, NCL, HAL and Princess. With that said, I enjoy meeting new people and connecting on a certain level. That's hard to do that when the majority of the passengers are much older than us.
  17. I prefer carnival, just my observation, but there seems to be significantly more elderly people on Princess than Carnival.
  18. Received 4 of them and tried to open the link. The link froze my system...ðŸĪĢ
  19. Agreed with what stobe said. Did Galveston once and won't be going again...
  20. How full was the ship? We were on her 2 years ago and she was passed max capacity.
  21. A dog didn't catch her, a security guard did. He saw the bag that had "Gummies" on it.
  22. Wait till the wackos coming in and calling them the "upsell peddlers" ðŸĪĢðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
