  1. On our last Reflection cruise from Port Everglades, we had an 11:00 assigned arrival time. They were not monitoring assigned arrival times and we were herded into the crowded waiting area waiting for disembarkation to finish. It was a stormy day and Reflection was late in docking. Once we were allowed into another waiting area, we were seated in the handicapped section (DH had a rollator) and were allowed to board the ship after Zeniths and Suites. No Concierge priority, so my guess is your better bet is to splurge on the Premium Pass.
  2. Allure is an Oasis class ship with the neighborhoods like Central Park and the Boardwalk. Anthem is more like a traditional cruise ship but has the North Star observation pod/ride. I will take the Allure over Anthem any day!
  3. I don't know if RC does, but you may want to explore excursions offered via Viator, or Shore Excursions. The only caveat is you are responsible for ensuring you are back on board on time. I book excursions with a guaranteed ending at least two hours before "on board" time and never more than a few minutes away from the port.
  4. Our last cruise in May 2023, we had The Key and an early scheduled arrival time. We went through the Key line and were seated in the The Key section of the terminal. Passengers were then seated in sections based upon their assigned arrival times, i.e. 11:00, 11:30 and on. Boarding started with Suites, and the Pinnacles, then The Key and then arrival time groups. It worked well.
  5. I like getting my free scoop of gelato, handing it over the barista and having the barista pour espresso over it to create an affogato. Heaven!
  6. Oh my! As a Lean certified professional, I dislike the lack of Standard Work! LOL
  7. The last two Reflection cruises I took, there was complementary bubbly at the Concierge luncheon.
  8. We like the Concierge lunch, although our expectations of the food are meh. It's nice to sit and be served with a nice glass of wine while avoiding the buffet. I wonder how crowded it will get with Concierge, B2B and Premium Pass holders now joining us.
  9. I think the email was sent to Elite and above status members. I sent the same question I asked for a previous webinar, which was never addressed: bring back the welcome glass of bubbly when we board!
  10. We always book Concierge and now are Elite as well. The main perks of Concierge are cabin location and the embarkation lunch in the MDR. Sometimes, Concierge passengers are invited to sailaway on the helipad with free bubbly from a selected port. Otherwise, both Concierge and Elite have separate designated waiting areas with continental breakfast on disembarkation day. Elite status members receive more benefits like the free Happy Hour beverage menu, theatre tour and other perks/events. I can't believe I'm saying this but, save your money and book a regular veranda cabin if the location works for you!
  11. I highly recommend you make reservations for anytime dining in advance via Cruise Planner. On our February 2023 Reflection cruise, there were a LOT of passengers who were provided pagers who waited until after 9:00 p.m. to be paged and seated. We had reservations for all our MDR nights and waited less than 5 minutes to be seated.
  12. I am loving these reviews! It makes me miss this sailing less. I feel like I am onboard with you! DH is progressing well on Day 6 home post-surgery. Counting down the days and weeks until our Thanskgiving Reflection sailaway.
  13. DH and I were originally scheduled to be on this cruise with you, but had to reschedule until Thanksgiving due to his extensive back surgery. I hope you enjoy this cruise and we will watch sailaway tomorrow on the Port Everglades webcam and follow along your posts!
  14. We saw Broken Strings production on Reflection last year. There was also a rock singer named Eric Sage who was awesome. They rotate the entertainers, so it could be any one or type of performer in addition to their standard shows.
  15. Agreed! I have used ParknGo eight times and have always been delighted with the service!
  16. 1. Watch the muster drill on the Celebrity app the morning of embarkation day, either over breakfast or while waiting to board the ship. Upon boarding, go to your stateroom, drop your carry-on and pick up your SeaPass card at the door. Then go to your Muster station and check in with the crew member there. It's easy! 2. My DH uses a rollator and can maneuver it into a Concierge stateroom. We fold it at night to minimize the space it takes up in the room. 3. I have only used by on-board account once in the casino. It's more hassle than it's worth, so I bring a set amount of cash for my casino play. I keep that money (wins and losses) in a separate envelope to keep track of my budget for the cruise. Please enjoy sailing on the Constellation! She was my first Celebrity ship and is a wonderful experience, compared to other cruiselines!
  17. We did the Beach Club last May for around $80 per person. The lunch was amazing, as well as the drinks service poolside. However, it's a one-and-done experience for us. Why? 1. We have several friends with infinity pools. 2. The friends also have outdoor kitchens where we can serve ourselves our beverages of choice any time without a beverage package. 3. We can also grill our own steaks, lobster and make our own appetizers to dine poolside. 4. We are within 1 hour's drive to beaches on the east and west coasts of Florida. I know we are spoiled to live in beautiful Central Florida! Instead of CoCo Cay, we will stay on the ship and feel spoiled onboard with everyone else off the ship!
  18. We love the LCG! I have dined there on both Silhouette and Reflection and have never been disappointed! Yes, the mac and cheese, as well as the creamed corn have varied in different experiences, but never inedible. We love the filets, the skewers and desserts! Can't wait to dine there on Reflection later this year!
  19. My DH has used a rolator (rolling walker) to help with ambulation on cruises. He cannot stand for more than 5 minutes, or walk farther that 25 feet without aid. We purchase The Key for all of our RC cruises. cruisegirl1 is correct about the shows. Please make sure you make show reservations BEFORE you cruise, which will make your wait to enter the theatre shorter and easier. The welcome luncheon is nice, but I cannot speak to seating. I can report the disembarkation breakfast is FAR superior to any other breakfast on the ship! You get an upgraded menu and then an escort will be available outside the dining room to escort you past the lines to disembark when you want!
  20. I've been to CoCo Cay twice. First time, purchased a cabana by the Oasis lagoon. Great time, great service in a very loud party atmosphere. The food from the Snack Shack was SO good! Oasis Lagoon was VERY cold in January 2000. Second visit was May 2023 and we splurged on the Beach Club. Very relaxed, quiet and the lunch was AMAZING. DH and I are not "beach people" and can lie by a pool or on a beach any day of the week, since we live in Florida. That being said, we will likely stay on the ship this May when it docks there.
  21. I have 18 Invicta watches and follow the prices online and on TV before sailing. The on-board watch purchase was 10 years ago on Connie, when I purchased a Bulova for $100. The same Bulova on land was priced at $300. On recent cruises, I have found all of the watches are above regular retail price, and marked "___% off" to get passengers to buy them. Ann Klein? Yes! Others...buyer beware. As stated by previous posters, watch purchases are at one's own desire and discretion.
  22. We post a magnet with our first names on it. Both DH and I go by nicknames other than the legal first names on our SeaPasses. This makes it easier for our stateroom attendant to address us in a friendly manner. Additionally, as a certified Lean practitioner, the door magnet is a tool of visual management to easily find our stateroom!
  23. I purchased a cabana at Oasis Lagoon pre-COVID. At the time, the cost was only $500 for a day. Our cabana attendant was AMAZING! He brought us fruit before we even asked and was constantly serving us through the day. I felt tipping him $20 a person was cheap, but it's all the cash I had on me that day (my friends didn't understand the nuances of a cabana experience and didn't bring any cash). With today's prices for a cabana, 10% of the price should be a minimum tip, if not more. The cabana attendants work very hard to make it a Perfect Day for you!
  24. I'm Elite and have never seen this type of special on Celebrity. We usually purchase a multi-night specialty dining package for this type of discount.
