  1. Have you looked on your Personaliser to see what’s available? Normally there are tabs to click on like ‘dining’ ‘entertainment’ etc.
  2. Well I’ve still got to move my October cruise and next year’s cruises aren’t suitable for various reasons so I might move it when these new ones are released. I’ve seen some ‘bargains’ recently like £399 for Iona to Norway but when I look ( I want a balcony for Norway) that £399 turns into £1000+ to choose a balcony so no different to normal prices.
  3. Afternoon all, hope you are enjoying your Easter Sunday. Quiet one for us as John is sorting out the shed! So I’m just pottering about. The sun is out now after a misty start. Weather tipped to go downhill after today.
  4. Went to Kent Life today with our son and family, Joshua enjoyed the animals there and the land train ride we had. Lovely day, good to be outside in the sunshine.
  5. Oh Brian I think I would say you already have your evening planned so you’ll have to leave it for tonight! I don’t avoid putting washing out on religious holidays, just wasn’t made aware of it growing up.
  6. We saw him on Britannia too, a great entertainer. The ambience in the Limelight is great too and I like the food and act all in one place. I have also seen a Jersey Boys show for free on Azura and they were brilliant.
  7. I’m following someone online who is due in Palma in the next day or so on Arvia. They don’t seem to have been changed.
  8. My work has switched to an internet based phone system 🙄 We have no physical phone we just plug the headset into our laptop! I don’t like it really, there’s often quite a delay so we keep talking over each other!
  9. Morning all, had a stressful time with our work phone system yesterday. It went off for everyone for about half hour, but didn’t come back at all for me! I finished at 1pm but carried my mobile round with me all the time as I was expecting a call from IT, it never came! This morning I signed on ( I don’t start til 1pm today) and it was working, hooray! Looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend as as I have Tuesdays off I’ve got 5 days off 😀
  10. I can just imagine that with lemon cake on it - perfect!
  11. I don’t quite remember that early but Annie Walker was the landlady when I first watched. We went on the tour in 2013 or 2014, very interesting! As a child my sister and I used to go upstairs to bed as the credits rolled on the Street 😊
  12. I watch all of those except Andrew Marr, I love WiLTY!
  13. Have a great time Josy (and Wowzz) and belated Happy Birthday 🎂 x
  14. Morning all, very remiss of me not to pop in before but I know it takes so long to catch up on this thread! Work has been crazy busy as we’ve had 2 full timers move to different departments and us left are picking up the slack. I did a couple of split shifts last week 8-11 then 4-6. This meant on Thursday I went to visit a friend for lunch I haven’t seen since 2020! Although we’ve spoken on the phone it was great to see her again. My mum was supposed to have a procedure yesterday but the hospital have cancelled it until the Tuesday after Easter. Hope you are all well and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
  15. Maureen Lipman is the best thing about Corrie at the moment. I watch out of habit but it’s a shadow of its former self.
  16. Thank you Avril, they’re doing ok but they are always a worry! Today they are off to the fracture clinic for my Mum’s knee, she went last week but they decided it was arthritis then she got a letter for an appointment today! John and I think it’s a mistake but they are going anyway.Perhaps they’ll decide it is a fracture after all 🤷‍♀️ They have been married 64 years today ☺️ I really hope your knee gets much better in time for the wedding, hopefully it will be a wonderful day for you all.
  17. I saw that but it’s my Mum and Dad’s wedding anniversary today and in years gone by it was always the first day of Spring!
  18. I know if you want to upgrade before you go the price is based on what it was when you originally paid. I booked an inside cabin on Azura on launch in 2018 for 2020 knowing that if I could afford to upgrade it would be much cheaper as it would have been based on the 2018 price. Sadly it was the year of you know what so we didn’t even go. Tiger B’s story is very interesting though!
  19. I hope everyone had nice weekends - we had our son, partner and grandson over Saturday and my Mum and Dad on Sunday. Very nice family weekend that flew by. I did well with my Mother’s Day presents - flowers, chocolates and some pink Prosecco! The boy did well!
  20. Hello all, too much to read all I’ve missed I’m afraid. I might be finally putting back our October cruise today - I keep putting it off but having to pay the final balance 3 months before puts me off. I’ve finally found one both of us agree on - 2 weeks on Arvia in September 2024! I did pay the final balance on our 4 night cruise in June last week so fingers crossed we get to go!
