We went to Sushi around noon. I ordered a drink and was told that the bar (World Class Bar) that made the drinks wasn’t open. They could try to get the drink from Cafe Al Bacio. It was terrible. I had the premium drink pack but if I had to pay for it I would be pissed. HINT Read between the lines about where the drinks are made. Sometimes it pays to get on friendly terms with the BTs at the WCB. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We use an app called MassTimes. For the most part it is reliable. There is an option to show where the churches are on a map. We always use it when we travel. I know it works for the Caribbean islands as we have used to there. You hit the balloon and it lists the church the info button and it gives more information along with getting the direction from your location by hitting the address. If you like Manhattans you know that some Vermouths are better than others. Here are those that I like Antica Formula 1786 vermouth Cochi Vermouth Not many places sell them because of the cost it usually doesn’t sell before the shelf life. I have had both on Celebrity. Sometimes you have to ask, the same for those cherries. I have found that if you get in a discussion with the BTs about the finer ingredients they will accommodate you as they appreciate someone that is fairly knowable. I will also ask for Fever Tree Ginger Beer, sometime they have it. I like bourbon so I will make a “Mojito” with bourbon instead of rum. Instead of a Moscow Mule I will make a Kentucky Mule using Bourbon, Fever Tree Ginger Beer and some Domaine de Canton. Just some info about getting some real premium drinks on board. On the Beyond in March they had a laundry special. 30 items for $59. We get 2 bags each for our loyalty but rarely use it. I don’t know how they wash the stuff but it makes my pants shrink 😱🤷‍♂️🙄 even though we request cold water wash only. If we send out anything it is stuff that isn’t expensive. The elastic in the socks and underwear always seems to get ruined and I hate those iron on identification tags. Some are hard to get off and sometimes they pull the threads when doing it and ruins the garment. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🌅🇺🇸

Our Costco had these for $8.99 a jar. We bought 6. Wish I would have bought more. Recently seen them again and they are now $18.99. Still a bargain. You need good stuff to make good Old Fashions. Those cheap red cherries don’t cut it. Never understood when people say that you should never use a premium spirit for a mix drink as it should be drank as is. BS. Garbage in garbage out. There are some exceptions but for the most part use what you like. I don’t think you would want to mix any of these except for very special occasions. We were on the Beyond for 2 weeks doing a B2B. We never seen a photographer in Luminae, embarkation, or on the piers when in a port, and I don’t remember seeing any photo stations set up. The ship was at capacity along with over 300 kids. We didn’t go out of the way looking for them either, Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

That isn’t a top end bourbon like what they had. Some think that Buffalo is a premium because it has the same bill mash as Blanton. Then old Grand Dad is also a premium because it has the same bill mash as Basil Hayden. The bottles are even the same. ` On the Beyond they also had Bulliet, MM, Beam and Ten High. Those aren’t anywhere near what they use to have in the premium. Some of those that use to be in the premium are now available in Craft Social starting at $30 on the Beyond. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Kelly ruined the cabins with her designs. Doesn’t have the bourbon selections like they use to have in the premium package. They use to have Blanton, Bookers, Knob Creek, Bakers, and Basil Hayden. The best now is Woodford and maybe Double Oak. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I recently did a major bathroom remodel. I did it my self. I also followed my doctors orders. Best advice I ever had and my wife has to allow it. Showers are now one of the best part of the day next to waking up. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I had a great TA with his own company until he had a stroke. That is when the problems began. All correspondence and everything else was gone. I couldn’t make any changes in cabins, get verifications, price adjustments and etc. His secretary was useless. He finally recovered enough to transfer everything to another agency. They weren’t very responsive to my questions or interested in making a booking. I would ask for a quote and may get a response 3 or more days later. This happened during Covid and there was a lot of cruises cancelled I have now started booking thru a big box warehouse that is really helpful and responsive. I learned that if the category isn’t shown on the website to give them a call. I alway call to make a reservation. They always answer within a 5 minutes and are available They are available 7 to 7 M F and 8 to 5 Sa S. pacific time because they are based in Seattle. I get a store gift card and using my membership and the CC another 5% rebate I don’t know if they participate in the move up and don’t care. I book what I want and willing to pay. I don’t want to pay more because it is a “bargain” for something I didn’t want when I booked. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Dogs are amazing. I have said if all dogs go to heaven I wish I would have been born a dog. Most times they are treated better than humans. They don’t have to work and they are pampered. I am old school and still have a land line. I am not going to wait around after a hour for the call back. 2 days later I have a recording that I missed them. The first time we were on a M class we locked our selves out. It is easy to do by pulling on the handle inside instead of using that little notch on the outside to close the door. It is a bad design. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We were on the Beyond Mar 19 and also the following week. There were over 300 on both. As with any of them most were well behaved but there were those few that were unruly and obnoxious and the parents didn’t do anything to control them and many were in the suites. One of the couple had a kid that would run around Liminae. The father would always came in later joining them and always wore black sweat pants and a white T shirt. Lesson learned don’t cruise on a 7 day or shorter cruise during that time if you don’t want to be around a bunch of kids. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

That is the hardest part of cruising, preparing for the next meal. It is so stressful having to get dressed and making it to breakfast before they close It seems as if you finish one meal and it is time for another. Doesn’t give much time to do any drinking. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
