We were on Celebrity during the football season and had their premium service that came with being in a suite. I tried streaming the game thru my U-verse provider on my IPad. It was very spotty. It would stream, freeze, stream, cut out come back and etc. Still was able to see most of MSU beat that team from AA. Wish that OSU would have really [pounded that team from the north into the ground instead of losing to them. GO GREEN! Before you go create an account with your provider and do some trial streaming at home. You may need to have the app. save the password on your devise and also put it in your notes just in case you need to manually type it in. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t know how many cruises you have been on or what your status is. If you aren’t a veteran cruiser you probably aren’t that close unless you have sailed in RS or PH suites It is probably a promo to get you to sail more. We are Elite Plus and we get emails that we are approaching Zenith. We need another 1200 points to Zenith. It will never happen at the rate we cruise, our age, plus the cost of cruising is getting beyond our comfort level. With the always included perks we get the perks from the Elite Plus aren’t that great. They have added a few things that do look interesting but we haven’t cruised since they were added. The laundry comes in handy for items that aren’t that expensive. I have noticed that it ruins the elastic in my socks and underwear even though I ask for cold water wash. You didn’t specify what year, or month or any specific islands in your original post. You did mention ABC but then also the 14 night cruises in the Caribbean. The 2 cruises that I mentioned are Oct 15, 2022 doing the ABC for 9 nts and Oct 24, 2022 for the southern for 10 nts this year. The Equinox also offers the same cruises in the Fall of 2023. I have B2B cruises on the Equinox in Oct. One is 9 nights and the other 10. We also enjoyed the 14 but now get 19 nights. There are benefits. It is 5 days longer and we get double the perks as Elite Plus for doing 2 cruises instead of one. We also get much more OBC using future cruise bookings plus the additional $300 pp/cruise. We now get a total of $1200 instead of $600. Book 2 cruises instead of one. We have also done side by side cruises on different ships and cruise lines. We found some great deals on shorter cruises on other lines. Sometimes you may have to spend a day or so on land in between but that may be a good thing to do some down time to take care of somethings. Trying different ships and cruise lines might help you in future cruising. One time we found a great deal on Princess for 5 days. We were on the elevator to depart and there were a group of women on it. One of them pointed to our carry on luggage and said we’re are sorry. I said I never know anyone to brag about it but thanks for the warning. She then sarcastically said it was meant to be that you have to leave as we are staying for the next cruise. I said we are glad to be leaving as we are going on the Reflection in a Suite with all the perks for 14 days. She then said oooooh and found out that her remark wasn’t so smart. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

If it anything like they did to the Summit a lot of storage space will be eliminated. We were in a SS on the Summit. All of the shelves I think the bath were eliminated, and the walk in closets with lights were eliminated. Appear they want the cabins to look like lofts. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The cost is too much. Before buying a pass check out the Persian Garden area. It isn’t the same as on the other class ships. It is a inside area that has one heated bench like a church pew along one wall. If there are more than 4 people it would be too close for comfort. It does have the showers and a sauna room., but I think there are also sauna rooms available in the locker rooms. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We were in a AQ cabin on the Apex. We only used the Thermal Suite twice during our 14 day B2B. The loungers didn’t feel as comfortable to us as those on the S class. 15 minutes of lying on them was enough. The other thing we didn’t like was that they were under a slanted window and during the day the sun would be on us. We are no longer sun worshippers because we both had some skin cancer. Some of the rooms were rather boring. Didn’t understand the purpose of the room with the salt block or crystal rock. We were in the Caribbean and got plenty of salt air and didn’t need the hot rooms as all I had to do was sit on the balcony or a upper deck to get the sauna affect. It also doesn’t have the Individual rain showers, it was a hallway where you stood under the shower heads . Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Promotion is to sell more. Doesn’t mean it is discounted or a bargain. I have 9 cruises booked and keep checking. The prices for my category continue to go up or are sold out All of my cruises are in SS. The price of the lower levels like AQ and CC when adding the perks now cost more than my SS and don’t get the SBC that I have, or the premium internet and premium drink pack. Happy cruising. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We sailed on the Summit in Nov 2021. We were in a SS. It was refitted by Kelly. No walk in closets, no shelves in the bathroom, very limited storage space and lousy furniture on the balcony. The chair wouldn’t fit under the in room vanity. The lighting was bad. The drawers were very shallow. It looked like she got everything from Ikea. Those little stools at the end of the bed took up space. The night stands had very shallow drawers there were no outlets. ‘ I liked the decor before she did her renovation

The first time we sailed on Celebrity was on the Solstice after being on many Princess and Carnival cruises. When we walked on board and given that glass of bubbly and then seeing the atrium we went WOW. We had an AQ cabin and when we walked in and seen it we were really sold on Celebrity. We bragged about how nice the ship was and AQ along with Blu. We convinced friends to try Celebrity and they sailed with us to Bermuda on the Summit. What a let down. We didn’t think about the Summit being different as it was a M class and not a S class. The cabin was outdated, very small balcony, lousy Persian Garden. Totally different ship. The CC and AQ cabins are a little larger. We have sailed on many more M class cruises and then knew what to expect. The ships even though older do have a lot of nice features and their own charm Try a S class in AQ and you will find a totally different experience, and ship. Then there is the Edge Class that many love and some hate. I love them but not a fan of the infinite balcony. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I like all of them. I also like Old Grand Dad bottled in bond. Very Old Barton , Weller, Willet, Old Forester, Wild Turkey , Rebel, MM, JTS Brown Bottled In Bond. Bakers, Bookers, Basil Hayden, and etc. They are all good some just better than others Drink up 🥃🍷🥂🍻🍺🍹🍸

Enjoy your cruise and Happy Birthday. If you are turning 40 it is actually your 41st birthday. The day you were born was the first one and I am sure many celebrated it. When in a suite we mostly spend time on the balcony. It is quiet, no chair hogs and at the right time of day in the shade. We always grab a few extra towels from the pool to use as extra padding on the chairs. The butler will usually accommodate any request you have such as snacks, and etc to have while lounging around enjoying the suite. Try to visit the retreat lounge around 4 pm. They usually have some activity and serve some great finger foods. The night when the officers visit be sure for the photographer to take a picture of both you with the Captain. We did a 4 day cruise out of Fl. It was a great bargain and a add on to an existing cruise. It was a hen party for many and also had a younger group than what was normally on a Celebrity cruise. The younger crowd were there for the party aspect and the hen groups would camp out at tables near a bar, or in the buffet, or solarium close to food and booze. The hens would play games eating and drinking all day and the young crowd would occupy the pool area during the day and the lounges at night. There were also a few large family groups. I think they were the most annoying as they would take over many areas by having someone reserving seats, tables and etc. Still wasn’t bad. Would go again if the price is right Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t know if you just want to use your OBC or interested in the extra 10%. When you purchase the promo it is now promo dollars and has to be played. Unless things have changed since March you don’t get any casino points for your play using the promo dollars. You do if you play with your winnings. If you just use your OBC you get the points. I don’t care about the points so I purchase it trying to convert my OBC to cash thru my winnings. The extra 10% helps to recover/convert most of the money. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
