  1. I have just a birth certificate and my drivers license for the cruise. But the birth certificate is in my maiden name and not my married name do I need my marrage license too?

Yes, you need the "bridge" documents that show the name change. If you have been married more than once, you need to bring a copy of each marriage license. Also make sure your birth certificate is your legal one and not the copy from the hospital.

  2. I hate to drag up an old thread, but I just read about something that applies to this subject.

My husband and I generally avoid hand sanitizers because we believe that to build up immunity, you need to be exposed to germs and bacteria. Obviously we don't mean handling nasty things or deliberately exposing ourselves to sick individuals but we don't try to sterilize our environment. We had a real struggle not interfering with my son-in-law's insistence on washing our granddaughter's hands each time she touched anything out of the ordinary. We have traveled a far amount and the only problem we've had with health was respiratory problems after visiting Shanghai.

Yesterday, the news carried stories about childhood peanut allergies. The stories referenced something called "hygiene hypothesis" that explains our beliefs regarding cleanliness. This article explains the idea:

While you may not agree there has been some serious research done by reputable scientist that back up this theory.

Please, don't assume that other people are dirty, thoughtless or ignorant if they don't use sanitizers. They may be right.

    Thank you!!

  3. I find the .sigs where people list every elite club they belong to and every cruise they have taken to be egotistical and a waste of space and my time to scroll through. Who cares that you are 20-star with HAL, Carnival Triple Elite and cruised on the Titanic????

I don't mind a single countdown banner for the next cruise. And, I don't mind small avatars. A 3-4 line .sig with small fonts is OK, too.

That sums it up for me too

  4. My adult daughter is 5'3" and she slept on the sofa bed on the summit last year. We requested a foam mattress topper but the bed still was not very comfortable. The pull down beds are more comfortable.

  5. Coki beach is right next to Coral World. We went to Coral World first and rented a locker for a couple of dollars. Your wristband for admission is good for allday. We stayed a couple of hours, went to Coki for a while and went back to Coral World for a shower before going elsewhere. Worth the $20 admission (for adults )

  6. This is the closet and don't recall any shelves inside here at all.

That said there were definitely drawers and think they are just to the side of the closet as we were able to put our clothes away there. Don't have a picture unfortunately. We were able to pretty much empty our suitcases between drawers and hangers so we were able to make the storage work for us.\

Hope you have a great trip.

We had an OV last year and there were drawers to the right of the closet. The safe is on top of the drawers

  7. How is the San Juan airport for flying in and getting to the ship?

We were in port at San Juan two years ago and loved it. We spent the whole day walking and touring the fort on the point of the island, stopping in shops, etc.

San Juan airport is easy for flying in. You go outside and get in line for a taxi. We flew in the day before so we had all day to see the area. Next year we are flying in 2-3 days early.
