  1. I did not attach a document. I read and commented on a document attached by @RichYak which appears to have been generated for Travel Agents judging by the use of the words Travel Partners and Your Clients in several places throughout the document. The wording : "All Suite categories require a 200% deposit at the time of booking." to a cruiser who is not a Travel Agent the quote reads as requiring 200% of the cruise fare.

    New website.

Mine took a bit longer to completely disappear, sometime within the past couple of weeks. Prior to that, at the time of separation I was missing 172 points. Like @Nuts4pi in post #1453, who was missing points for 12/22 and 3/23, our 172 missing points are from 12/22 (previously there) and 2/23 (not added).
  3. At this point in time, the only room service fee in a suite is $4.95 for a very late night/very early morning delivery (I can't remember the exact hours). Until the $9.95 + gratuity was introduced for rooms other than suites, the above applied to all rooms throughout the ship.
  4. An interesting response to one of the FAQ's in the document : 7. Will the required deposit amount also change? At this time, there are no changes to our standard deposit policy. All Suite categories require a 200% deposit at the time of booking. 😆

No, we don't have a cruise booked either. You must be lucky! Number and loyalty level were ok and most of the points were there until quite recently.
  6. Post #806 on page 33 of this thread has a link.

    New website.

Well, at the time of the changeover : * my Azamara Circle Number was correct and remained so until sometime within the past couple of weeks when it was changed to a new number. * my Current Tier was also correct at Discoverer Plus, now very recently changed to Preview - it seems my 31 Azamara cruises and several Celebrity cruises fell into a black hole. * my Points were incorrect, having had some removed and others just not added in as noted in post #1404 above. Now even the incorrect points have gone, leaving me with 0 instead of 1296. So, at least in my case most of the information was correct at the time of changeover, but has now been "lost." I'll look again at the end of the month . . . . . .

Oh dear! 🤔 At the time of changeover my number and level (Discoverer Plus) were correct, but points from a Celebrity cruise in December 2022 which were there before the changeover had been removed and points from our February Azamara cruise had not been added. I sent in the form with documentary evidence (screen grab of My Azamara prior to changeover) and February cruise, but no response. I have not looked for some time as we do not have a current booking, but given many of the recent comments about altered numbers and loyalty status, I logged in this morning to find : * New Azamara Circle Number * Current Tier - Preview (as above should be Discoverer Plus) * Points - 0 (my 1296 points have been swallowed up somehow) I can see no point in trying to get this corrected before the ongoing mess is better sorted.
  9. Well, at the risk of being jumped on by several posters in this thread here goes : We have done a heap of cruises on another line (previously related to Celebrity) and noticed the music volume creeping up during the couple of years pre-covid. On one occasion the Guest relations Manager accompanied us to a specific music venue and checked the volume with her decibel meter. It was above safe level (85) and she had it turned down to not exceed the maximum safe level for prolonged exposure. In December we cruised on Eclipse and were amazed and impressed to see a sound technician check the volume level prior to the commencement of various sets, during which we enjoyed both listening and dancing. We don't usually go to shows, but one in particular was recommended, so we went and enjoyed the performance of the group of singers, which was also at a safe decibel level. Back to the other line in February - after negative response from senior officers, we briefly checked out various entertainment venues, but after discovering the decibel level was consistently over the maximum safe level of 85 and at times over 100, subsequently we actively avoided entertainment venues at performance times. We will not cruise again with what had been our favourite for many years. I do feel for the bartenders who have no choice other than to be subjected to hearing damaging sound night after night. Or leave their employment - just getting that bit in before someone else does! Hoping our October cruise on Solstice will be similar to December on Eclipse!
  10. Or any similar piece of equipment loaded with a decibel meter - like my phone.
  11. If you are exposed to a level above 85 decibels for prolonged periods of time, medically speaking it is dangerous to your hearing. Fact!
  12. And they will all suffer deafness at much younger ages than should be expected in one living their life surrounded by sounds below the maximum safe level of 85 decibels!
  13. We have sailed on S class, but not on E class, however the layout of the ship makes it easy to order from MDR in Luminae on S class than on E class, where Luminae is several decks above MDR.
  14. I was about to write almost exactly the same. If not in a suite (where you may be able to combine suite & loyalty benefits) : . . one bag per stateroom per week, i.e. a full 7 days . . therefore two bags per stateroom needs to be 14 days . . and if doing B2B, the week starts anew at the beginning of the second cruise, so for example, doing two 12 day cruises you would only have two bags of laundry per stateroom, not three.
  15. . . . and don't contemplate having a quiet rest in the afternoon!
  16. Not exactly dropped "right in the centre of town" but at the base of the cliffs from where it is a good walk up to the centre of Sorrento, or I believe there is now a lift one can use.
  17. You're welcome! Fortunately we had been warned, as having got myself lost, (taking a wrong exit from a Piazza near where we were staying) ending up some distance away and by that time out of water on a hot day, I was a bit stressed! Without the warning, I would have handed over more cash. Rome is an amazing city, we have been several times and if we ever get back (not so young any more) there would still be new places to explore. Don't forget to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain if you have time. Enjoy!
  18. As you say, Azamara does not have a "nightclub" as such and although music from the Living Room on deck 10 is unlikely to disturb your slumber on deck 8, I would not like to be either above or below the Cabaret Lounge. We experienced being above on one occasion thanks to an unwanted "wonderful upgrade" and were not able to be moved back to our booked stateroom of choice. Not only were we subjected to the loud volume of performances, but also rehearsals during the day at a time I was confined to quarters, having eaten something which disturbed the equilibrium of my intestines. That was in the days before the decibel level began it's escalation a few years ago. It was measured up to 100dB, well above the maximum safe level 85dB on our last cruise in February this year.
  19. If you are doing this "tour" you could book "skip the line" tickets for both the Colosseum and Vatican. If taking a taxi, be very sure of the denomination of the currency you hand over - some drivers are quite adept at palming a smaller note and saying "you only gave me . . . " Fortunately I had been warned about this in advance and when the driver became threatening I told him he could call the police - he left with what I gave him - the correct amount plus tip he did not deserve due to his extortion attempt.
  20. There were long lines also in December on Eclipse during a Pacific Islands cruise.
  21. Check your passport prior to booking an international flight or a cruise, especially if booking a last minute special deal!
  22. You could also check the Roll Cal for your cruise.
  23. On board currency has always been US$. Pre-booked excursions (for whatever reason) have always been in the cruiser's local currency. It is well worthwhile monitoring fluctuations in currency exchange rates. I have always been able to find a reasonable rate when booking before cruising. Once you have pre-booked your first excursion, the exchange rate will remain the same for any more excursions booked before your cruise. Once on board your remaining OBC will revert to US$. Enjoy!
  24. Not the first time there has been no Future Cruise staff on board, making it impossible to take advantage of the regular savings for various levels of loyalty and OBC for booking on board.
