  1. I have Australia/NZ booked (Viking). The Canadian/Greenland NW passage, including prior cruise on the Great lakes and the SL seaway booked (Viking). Have to fly to Barcelona to rejoin WC for 4th quarter. Doing river cruise in Oregon, flying to Portland (American Queen). Just added B2B Alaska again. Waiting to book an eastbound TA with French river cruise added on (Viking). And still want to do the TA from Hong Kong to Vancouver (Viking).
  2. The internet country changing happened to us all the time on other ships, and same with cruising with Viking in Europe. Even recent Wonder, cruising off the coast of Mexico...changed to Mexico. I was quick to delete cookies when we got back to the U.S. coast.
  3. I hope they don't try and shove too much of their stuff under the bed for WC...I have too many suitcases...I need that room!! 😮 They would find their stuff back into the hallway linen closet! Real shame that RCI did not put Serenade into drydock for those things...at least a month of real work should have been done to her from what you are describing. Feel sad for you and your cruise mates having to put up with all that annoying activity. 😕
  4. Is that like Odyssey with the glass between the the bathroom and the cabin? Have never been on Quantum. I hung a towel from a magnet hook to cover that up...due to turning on the light and waking up "Mr. Sleepy head" too early. 😮 Indeed...I do love the nightlight feature. 🙂
  5. I live in Florida...but most of my cruises involve flights out of Florida. There are only so many Caribbean cruises we can stand to repeat over...and over again. 😉
  6. They were not doing that on Wonder....guess it's just too big...too many C&A members. Did get our certificates, and the stratum....but just mailed to us. And actually I never wait for the certificate.....I just call CS, of whom are able to quickly look up the certificate number and use it for my booking. Using my next one on Wonder end of Feb.
  7. Yup, bought some magnets designed for holding down creepy curtains...but can now leave those behind since I realized Serenade was the plastic door sister. Has been awhile since we were in a balcony cabin. Though even some GS and JS cabins have curtains...but has more room to run away from them inside the tub. 😉
  8. I bought the shower curtain weights to hold them down, and then realized Serenade is one of the sisters with the curved plastic canister...not curtains. Indeed those yucky shower curtains sticking to you in an already too small shower stall is gross. 😕
  9. Always interesting how each ship presents the top tier. Some indeed really go all out and becomes an event of over half hour. Some, like Wonder...done in 10-15 minutes, with same canned speeches.
  10. Not sure about recognition ( just the 3 highest point cruisers and new Pinnacles)....but get to double Pinnacle (1400 points)..... Free 7 night cruise certificate in a JS cabin. 🤗
  11. Ahhh...interesting. Thanks Ken! 🙂 And of course they taunt you with the Royal Up bids. 😉
  12. Yeah, I remember something about the new (incorrect) signs they printed up...that were released too early. Ooops! 😬
  13. It is funny though. From the rumors that circled around when they added Emerald, it was supposedly a mistake, as they wanted to officially name the 340 point (was 350 at the time) as Emerald. Let's face it Emerald is a wink of the eye (of which we skipped the whole level on one longer cruise)...and not much worth anything. I did get to finally see a pin with the green glass, versus clear glass like the Diamond pin though. 😄
  14. Europe in the summer will always be in high demand...be it a WC segment or TA or anything else. We booked our 4th quarter out of Barcelona when the quarters were first released.
  15. I agree. I was shocked to pull up the listing of so many available cabins still on the website for the mini legs...... inside, outside, and a lot of balconies. Nothing at all from JS and up...so assuming RCI is holding those back...maybe to get $$ for upgrade bids?
  16. I am bringing my battery "tap light" for the bathroom for just in case anyway. Yes, please let us know if they install the nightlight! Thanks! 🙂
  17. If you are in a balcony cabin, at least the "Scotty Beam me Up" showers are on board with Serenade. Not the awful "TSA body inspection" wrap around shower curtains in that tiny space. Ugg!! 😝
  18. Actually now you can simply pull up RCI website. The mini legs are now listed, with cabin choice and pricing. 🙂 I found my cabin choice listed as the other website did. And I did manage to get my cabin changed...yaah! Center of the seesaw in rough weather is where I prefer to be. And this is now starboard, with chance of seeing the shoreline as we go round the horn. 🙂
  19. Crossing my fingers part of it could be nightlight in the bathroom? Love those on Oasis class ships.
  20. We were on it as well. Great costumes as we walked around the Promenade...but did not stay for the parade. Bucky managed to get with our CK host and set this up. 😉 Poor Grace met her doom.
  21. It is all according to what you consider worth it. Sometimes the experience....is in the "eye of the beholder".
  22. Go to the RCI website. Do a dummy booking for each of the 17 segments. Starting with the first 3...which is our "first quarter"...you will see a lot of balcony cabins available. I am currently trying to change cabins from half way down one aft hallway to a cabin on "the hump" which will be less up and down during rough seas around the horn.
  23. Have been to a couple of those when numbers were low.
  24. They added an entertainment tour on Wonder a couple of weeks ago...declined it. But not sure if it was for C&A perk, or being in a suite. 🤔
  25. Can't reveal the actual location...due to CC regulations...but the website mentions a "sea" in it. 😉
