  1. Interesting observation for WC cruisers....the ship is definitely not sold out. Could not find anything at all at JS and above...but wow....the inside, outside, and even a whole lot of balcony cabins are still up for grabs. 😮
  2. Totally agree. The reserved seating on Wonder was up in the balcony area. Not a really great seating...IMHO..., and if you don't pay attention....the railing along the edge will block your view. We preferred the main deck seating.
  3. OMG...that is awful!! I would have complained dearly about that. Geezzz RCI...get a clue and put a door on that entrance!! 🤢 Agree...also my favorite class of ship (and will be spending a bit of extra time on Serenade next month 😉 ). I am like you, and mention that in my exit survey as well. Such a simple fix to add a door...not sure why they don't. At least on new Wonder they put doors on each casino exit forward and aft.
  4. Though we have never, ever gone over our six per day... but that is just us. With the 3 free bottles of wine delivered to the cabin, the six free drinks per person each day, and the ability to bring on a bottle of wine each (which we don't do any longer)....I would need to start looking for the nearest AA chapter when we get home. 😮😉
  5. And to clarify in modern times: 340 D+ lunch is separate from Pinnacle lunches. Sometimes menu the same...but I have heard complaints from D+ friends that it is not. Wine selections vary as you go up in points. And lately, the reserved seating for shows on some ships are full suites and Pinnacles only. Seems to vary from ship to ship...as is common in all things RCI (Really Consistently Inconsistent).
  6. Yes, there is always a menu...but not sure what an eye fillet is?
  7. Indeed...also one of my favs. Love the breakfast in Chops. 😋
  8. Good for you! And good for me as well. I have cruises booked with other lines that far exceed the length and cost of the RCI cruises I have booked. Yaaah!! Thanks...and I will always have a stupid answer for you. 🤗
  9. We were at sea....but they probably had a plank somewhere. 😄
  10. Not to be splitting hairs...but I will anyway. 😉 You are missing a few things: Bigger balcony discount Flexible early check in time at terminal Priority embarkation and suites/Pinnacle waiting area Escorted departure 25.00 coupon for Specialty restaurants Free milestone balcony cruises (I have my second one booked already) then the 3rd being a free JS 3 free bottles of wine (from Pinnacle choice list) Cheers with an officer Pinnacle lunch Priority seating at shows/events These are things that just happen when you love to cruise...and enjoy cruising a lot. If RCI wants to toss me some freebies...I sure won't turn them down. And indeed...the free unlimited internet is my favorite. 😉
  11. Yup, love the free stuff! Going on our 2nd Pinnacle freebie cruise end of February on Wonder. 😉
  12. Royal does recognize Pinnacle on the same cruise that they turn. But not the perks.
  13. There was a whole group of young people in the VCL on Voyager vaping one afternoon. Officer finally asked them to stop.
  14. You are most welcome, and am happy I was able to help. 🙂 We loved 1770 so much, that we had booked it again for this year. Did four weeks in that cabin a year ago, and now this last 2 weeks over Halloween. It is on the quieter port side, unlike the starboard side that gets all the foot traffic to CK/SL.
  15. All day on sea days, and at night on all four Radiance sisters are bad if your cabin is anywhere near the Centrum. The smoke coming out of the casino through the large open doorway flows out and up (like a chimney) into the area of the open decks above. Wish they would finally get a clue and install a closing door at the entrance of the casino, to hold the smoke inside it. IMHO it is too close to the Centrum.
  16. Thanks Sherri...hope you had a great turkey day as well. 🙂
  17. Yes, we adore her! We sailed with her and enjoyed her excellent service in CK on Harmony for years, before Wonder came in to replace her. So happy to see Grace transfer over. Unfortunately she will be on vacation when we are back again the end of February. 😞 She wanted that picture with Bucky being more than a bit scary for Halloween a couple of weeks ago. 😄
  18. Got one of the new colored ones from Wonder a couple of weeks ago. Was a duplicate, but different design. I like it, but your bro does not, so it's on my desk as a paper weight. 😉
  19. This big Dave. And this does not include the duplicates we gave away. 😉
  20. Do realize that everyone reaches the next level sometime during the cruise. Your points are not tallied until a week to 10 days after the full completion of your cruise. The only level that is recognized while on the current cruise (but not awarded the perks) is Pinnacle. Each time we made it to the next level...as someone already mentioned...it made looking forward to the next cruise that much sweeter. 🙂 Congrats on making it to Diamond.
  21. Funny thing is...we made it to Pinnacle, then started booking other lines after being "Loyal to Royal" for the last 20 years. 😉
  22. I was thinking about it...but we are only on half the WC...first quarter and last quarter. And I would need help trying to post pictures. Orville is top notch at it. 🙂 Will be good to see John and Laura again. He has mentioned helping me with the pictures before
