We always travel with a smaller pair of high quality binoculars. They stay in Hub's carry on bag.

Love Royal but they need to fix the disembarkation

This exactly... ^. -

I am guessing about 90% of the disembarking pax would not agree with you. There is an almost stampede to be first off the ship. The heavy bulk of pax dragging their heavy suitcases for the 6:30 am "self assist" really clears the ship pretty fast. We prefer to collect our bags at baggage claim, after having a relaxing breakfast, and still can be off the ship by 7:30-8 am. -

Exactly.....but quite a bit more than 20 times for for us. Actually used to love the little island when it was a tendered port. It was more natural, and peaceful. Loved the nature trail down to the opposite end, enjoying a swim and a nice view over the high point down there. Now...."They paved paradise and put up a parking lot". Sing it Joanie! 😉 -

LOL...I am not sure Coco Cay is ever empty...but we (on Wonder) were the only ship there on Monday of this week and last week. But being a ship with over 6K pax...still was quite populated. 😉 With WC Serenade going there on a Monday, guessing the tiny ship will be docked next to Big Momma Wonder that day. 😲 -

Currently on Wonder, have to be out of your cabin by 8 am, and off ship by 9-9:30. Which is pretty common with U.S. disembarkations. -

You got that right...and if RCI does not want to offer those...there are other lines that are most happy to receive your money. 😉 -

Nassau trying to draw those thousands of people off the ship with that huge new, modern development inside the port area. -

Totally agree. In the past, when you did a B2B western/eastern...they were all different ports. Now it seems both directions just "have" to go to Coco Cay. 🤪 -
Viking is like that, except wine/beer with lunch and dinner only. Drink package available and not expensive like RCI, or just buy as you go drinks .....also low price. Kids? None on board...none allowed. Happy to have some long cruises booked with them. Doing Viking for NZ/Aussie adventure, which is why we are not on 2nd quarter WC.

Indeed...and is exactly why I won't sail on the new Icon or Utopia. Currently on Wonder, which is a convenient 7 night from our local port, and do adore the set up with the GS cabins being on the same floor as CK/SL (without having to book the 2 story cabins on previous sisters). Everything is all on one floor without having to deal with the crowds in the other areas of the ship. But I think we are done with this size of ship. Looking forward to getting back to the smaller ships.

Yellow Fever Vaccine requirements for Roatan confusion!

We are there now...so far we are surviving. 😄 -
Beautiful! We were just there yesterday, currently docked up in Roatan. Had a nice sunrise also. Enjoyed one of our favorite treats there where you are...Pancho's Backyard..walking down to the Carnival dock. So you did dock at the International pier...not the downtown dock. Kind of hoping we will be at the downtown dock next month when WC starts. We have been there at the international pier maybe 99% of the time, but always consider it a treat when we rarely score the downtown dock. 🙂 Enjoy Cozumel!

Or the "mouse boat" when you wish upon a star. 😉

We are currently docked (on Wonder) next to Mariner here in Cozumel. They blew the horn for drills this morning...OMG!! What happened to that nice deep mellow ship horn? It is like nails on a chalk board...sounds like the obnoxious air horns they blow at ball games. 😱

Thanks! Viking a bit pricey...but am very excited about the adventure. They do require early full payment with that company though...gulp...big dent in the nest egg coming up next month. 😮 But not leaving it behind. 😉 -

Hmmm...somehow I think we will survive. 🙂 We are doing just half of the 274 days that Serenade dances around the globe. After RCI cancelled our Aussie adventure not once, but twice...they struck out with us. Have given Viking our Australia, SP, Taz, NZ adventure now, so didn't need 2nd quarter WC...plus I refuse to travel through the middle east (3rd quarter). We are on first and fourth quarter, and are totally excited about the ports we do visit.
