  1. Love...love Ushuaia as one of my favorite ports. Good King Crabs too!!
  2. Indeed. They wanted our B2B paid in full right away when I booked. Was balking at that and should have listened to my red flag. Hassle with them cancelling one of our legs and wanted to charge us to rebook. Umm...no!! 3 weeks hassle to get them to wave that. Thought we were set. Two weeks later...they file bankruptcy. 🤬 Now we have to go through all these hoops and forms to get our money back, which is despicable. They know we paid, we and they have proof...just send us our refund!!!!
  3. Another reason we always liked you!!! Cheers my friend! 🍻 Oh wait...don't Dogs drink from the toilet? 😁🐕
  4. Not all the water from your tap is the desalinated. They only use that when they have to. Most water is taken on from various ports. It's the residual salt brine regulations that are tough for them to deal with.
  5. I am currently on a World Cruise....and got that email. I was confused at the W9 was well. I immediately sent a response to the "please feel free to ask questions" about why I had to do that, but of course...being what they are...they never answered me. There is no notary service on our ship...thus I had to pay 136 bucks (105 pounds) to notary I found online in Southampton England as one of our cruise stops. I had the concierge scan and send back to me, of which I downloaded and sent to the required email address. This is the address for mailing and emailing: Email to: Hornblower.Claims@ArgoSurety.com or Mail to: Attn: Hornblower/AQV Claims, Argo Group US 711 Broadway, Suite 400 San Antonio, TX 78215
  6. I did. It was some sort of pipe purging. Yuck...looked like sewer water. 😬
  7. The tap in your cabin does not have the charcoal filter system that the machines do. Years ago, after witnessing brown/yellow stinky water that came out of our bathroom sink tap for the first (and not last) time...I am brushing my teeth when it runs clear...but drink it? Ummm...... 🤢
  8. I do exactly the same for water or coffee. Fill paper cup from machine, transfer to portable coffee mug or bottle. Simple. Never, ever fill directly from spigot with your personal mug or bottle.
  9. OMG...thank you so much for posting those! Looking forward to Octantis! 🥰
  10. Totally agree....yummmms! Sushi! 😋 Pasta bar...meh.
  11. Won't catch me anywhere near those cabanas. I travel with my own Cabana boy. 😄 😄
  12. Oh...no..no...no. I will be incognito as much as possible. 😄
  13. I like the part about the mini bar. Ummm....huh??? 😉 So happy they did away with those things a long time ago. Almost every cruise they added a small annoying charge AFTER we left the ship. 😠
  14. Looks like Czar is replacing Azar in the Concierge Lounge for start of mini segment tomorrow out of Southampton. Were you on 4 mini segments? We were on first quarter (Miami to LA)....now on this last quarter, Barcelona to Miami for finish, with being happy to do half the WC. Worked great for us to break it up.
  15. My crystal ball agrees with you! Happy you talked us into joining you on Apex. Looks like a beautiful ship...and will be a fantabulous birthday party!! Woo..hooo!! 🥳
  16. It definitely was a well placed carrot on a string for us! 🙂
  17. Never say never....I made that mistake a few years ago. 😉
  18. Oh gosh that happened twice to me as well on the first quarter. Until they got wise to someone that actually knows the difference. 😄
  19. Same thing in the concierge lounge. Azar is already pulling out a pre chilled glass and fresh bottle for me when I walk in. 🥰
  20. Yup. Still getting it every where else. I guess the WJ just did not stock. But then again, hoping it's not another shortage issue to come, like happened on first quarter, as in and out stock.
