  1. LOL...yes...that would be hilarious. 😄 Have actually seen funny looking badges that were home made. Not sure if they were meant as a joke, or trying to get perks. 😉 The ones they sent you...definitely look home made. 😄
  2. I remember that...and I think that was one of the reasons we went as well. Ah well...just hit it at the worst time I guess. Not sure if we will ever try it again...it was that bad for us. At least on Harmony anyway. Trying Taste of Royal for lunch on Harmony for the first time for us, next week.
  3. I had read great reviews about Sabor, so was excited about finally trying it ourselves as my birthday lunch. The service was soooo bad it was almost laughable...almost. 🧐 Food was OK for half of us, mine was terrible. Then the waiter got our check messed up, gave us someone else's sea pass card, giving them ours, which he had to catch as they left. It was late May, so it was very hot out there, and extremely noisy.
  4. OMG....and I thought my first set was bad!! Came printed wrong, all banged up (not secured in the box) and were so bad that the LA on EX insisted she ship new ones to to me. Those look like kids toys! 😮
  5. We never use the pool or hot tubs...but it is interesting watching those surfer's waves on the kiddie pool! 😄
  6. Yeah drats...but I think I still have a picture of Bucky with Fiona somewhere in my collection when they had that contract. 😄
  7. Leaving on Harmony this Sunday, eastern route...right into the path of Fiona. Not really worried about it, being on such a big beamy sure footed ship as Harmony, which can move out of the way if needed...but oh that rain. 😮 Wondered if Shrek could drag her back to the swamp before we leave. 😉 Probably won't make Coco Cay.
  8. Just make those reservations on the app when you board...easy peasy. Otherwise, go to GS desk, which will most likely get more and more busy with longer lines as pax are boarding.
  9. When the fiasco of "accidentally" charging for small items in the fridge (when they used to stock it with soda, beer, water etc.) was happening constantly AFTER the completion of the cruise....I started setting up my sea pass card as cash accounts. Those stocked fridges and water have since gone away. I am now back to CC on account. I have learned to carry a second card now, since my regular Visa card hit a skimmer in a gas station pump at the beginning of a trip...suddenly without CC for that trip. RCI Visa, with it's no annual fee is our second card. Has worked great for us. 🙂
  10. Do you actually know where Orlando is? Apparently RCI thinks it is on the coast. Yeah, walking distance to the gates of Disney from the ship. 😄
  11. When the shut down from Covid happened, RCI released their current company that did the logo items, like blocks, Pinnacle towers, pins, etc. When restart happened, the old company would not renew. They found this inefficient and terrible "low bid" new company. That company is overwhelmed and can't do the same job, not to mention their product is lower quality.
  12. Just booked Taste of Royal for Harmony next week. Will be interesting. Could be a "one and done"....or could be a new venue for future cruises. Have not been impressed with the last few Chef's Table experiences...hopefully this is better...maybe?
  13. I usually get the "how many cruises have you been on"? And I always reply "No idea". Which is true, since I have lost count. 😉
  14. You simply ran into one of those stressed out, overworked crew members on dreaded TAD. Almost every time we go through our B2B procedure, we are told we can access our cabin again (as long as you are keeping the same cabin). You are not dragging your carry on bags, you know exactly where you are going. Not nearly as disruptive as wandering newly boarded pax, who are dragging those carry on bags, and cluelessly looking for their cabin. Now, if I have to change cabins...yeah, I will wait until cabins are open with the rest of the newly boarded pax, due to attendants having to clean that new cabin.
  15. You are most welcome. I love turn around day. After being marched through the B2B procedure, once the ship has been cleared, we return to our cabin. Time to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and relax, knowing we are already unpacked and ready for another "go round". 😉 😄 We always wave off our overly worked cabin attendant, who is always happy he/she can save time during that busy day and not have to deal with the cleaning. Just a change out of towels when we let them know the night before...and we are good to go.
  16. Yes, check in for each leg. I just did my third leg for Wonder this morning. No worries for check in time, don't need to print set sail pass (you are given the new sea pass cards for the new leg at the B2B meeting in advance). And of course don't need to print luggage tags, unless you are changing cabins and want a more "professional" tag on your bags for the cabin attendant to move your bags. Me, I just hand print a tag..if needed....but prefer to stay in same cabin if at all possible. And usually is.
  17. The ship will give the B2B pax an "in transit" card....if you need to show it to get back into your cabin. And of course, you are not dragging the bang..bang..thump...thump carry on bags with you over all the carts, bags, trash...and the furiously hard working turnaround day crew in the hallway. 😉
  18. I am sure HAL is happily waiting for you to book your next cruise. 😉
