  1. A couple that come to mind are. Not having to call, wait on hold to have some undertrained employee screw it up. The second guest had an FCC applied that would be lost if they were removed.
  2. You are not following each countries guidelines. You are following Royal's policy and that is that a COR does not replace vaccination requirements. With a COR you can use that to not have a valid antigen test to board but you still need to meet the vaccination requirements that the cruise line has set
  3. Nope. the .001% is correct. They would not be repriced. Only if you change cabin categories would you be repriced.
  4. A certificate of recovery only exempts you from the pre boarding testing. It does not exempt you from any vaccination requirements
  5. You did not ask this but just as an FYI. If you are booking through a travel agent or if you call in to book you can book a cabin that would normally hold 2 guests and add your son to the room with a pack n play. Your son would pay the rate for 3rd and 4th guest which should be under Kids Sail Free so just paying the taxes. The advantage to doing the booking this way is that the rate for the first 2 guests in a double occupancy room will be less than the rate for the first two guests in a triple/quad occupancy room and if you are using a TA they may have group space available at an even cheaper rate for double occupancy cabins that you would qualify for.
  6. This is a recent addition. They never used to require this but there were too many people calling in saying that they or a family member tested positive just to get a cash refund as opposed to an FCC
  7. Group rates can absolutely be booked as a solo. The only time a dummy name is needed is when the initial reservation is created by a TA on line as cruising power will not create it for one. It is a simple phone call to have the rate adjusted and have the dummy name removed.
  8. While it is true that all cabins that sleep 4 will have the bed by the bath it is not true that all cabins for 2 will have the bed by the balcony. Cabins for 2 can have their beds by both the bath and balcony.
  9. I was on Symphony for 2 weeks in March and had them delivered to my stateroom every day
  10. Most likely just another website glitch. All categories available for sale on Cruising Power. Not even close to being sold out
  11. If cruises were booked by March 31, 2022 that sail before Sept 30, 2022 then Royal's policy under CWC was to allow for price drops up to 48 hours prior to the date of sailing in the form of OBC
  12. You creste your own at s dlot machine. Insert your card snd your password is your birthdate. Transfer money from your account onto a dot machine then cash out.
  13. But it's not. Both the 1D and 3D have availability for that sailing.
  14. The downside to that is if you have a TA and move it into a group for the lower rate then you have to pay the full deposit amount as groups won't honor the reduced deposit.
  15. The incentive is the $100 OBC...if you know what you want to book. If you don't know then there isn't an incentive
  16. What you are referring to is a Next Cruise. FCC is a future cruise credit that is issued for cancellations. A next cruise credit allows you to book a cruise for $100pp deposit (Junior suites and below, full deposit for GS and above). This is also a non refundable deposit booking. You will get an On Board Credit based on the cabin type and sailing length (7 day sailing in a balcony is a $100 OBC...total, not per person). You do not have to pick a ship and sail date immediately but if you do not choose one within 2 months you will lose the OBC and if you don't pick one within 12 months you lose your deposit.
  17. I used the wrong term. I should have said price match as opposed to price drop.
  18. Unfortunately not. The price drop guarantee means that Royal will only give you the lower price if it is posted on their website. They will not match travel agents prices
  19. No. That is an entirely different situation. In a group you are getting your balcony discount plus the group amenity and not the OBC or instant savings promo offered by Royal. The question that was asked was "is the C&A balcony discount combinable with the promos that Royal is offering...they are not.
  20. C&A balcony discount is not combinable with instant savings or OBC offers from Royal.
