  1. Back to the original topicā€¦and thanks for asking! I had no idea this B2B discount was a possibility. Contacted my TA who advised I got $50 off my 4-night cruise and another $100 off the 10-night that will follow. I love Cruise Critic šŸ˜‰
  2. Best news ever! I am a huge fan of stir fry and enjoyed it post Covid on both Edge and Reflection. Unfortunately, it wasnā€™t available on Equinox in February. I tracked down the head chef who laughed at me when I said I couldnā€™t understand how a dish made to order could be wastefulā€¦unless they were cutting up an abundance of ingredients ahead of time. Iā€™ll look forward to the stir fry station on Silhouette in April šŸ˜‹ Susan
  3. Cuz I'm set to sail on the maiden voyage! I'm trying to think about how strongly I should have a backup vacation plan! Good thinkingā€¦just in case! Hope everything works out for you and you have a great cruise. Susan
  4. Iā€™m curious as to why you ask the question. Just general curiosity?ā€¦or have there been reports of delays? Susan
  5. I am a huge fan of the burger served at lunchtime at the Rooftop Garden Grill (and Lawn Club Grill on a few of the S class ships).
  6. Dittoā€¦Equinox in Februaryā€¦SV deck 8 in the middle (cabin 8344) and no soot.
  7. There are no dumb questions! Ask awayā€¦ P.S. Equinox is a great ship. Bon Voyage āš“ļø
  8. Our group of five ate in Tuscan on our first night on Equinox in February. It was outstandingā€¦from the charcuterie board to the meatball app to the garlic mashed potatoes to the filetā€¦there may have been some veggies involved, but I canā€™t comment on those. So good that we went back on the last night!
  9. Also Sunset Verandah which is a true balcony. As Rich said, book early. SVs are very popular and book quickly.
  10. Your post from 20 minutes ago is #8ā€¦last post was May 7 by PTC Dawg. Sounds like I have also missed several posts.
  11. Happy Birthday and Bon Voyage. Equinox is a beautiful ship šŸš¢
  12. Iā€™ve got to say this has been an entertaining way to pass the afternoonā€¦and fyi, no one here is on my ā€œhitā€ listā€¦this is the fun group!
  13. Slightly off topicā€¦we are B2B on Silhouette next April 4 and April 8. Are either of those your family cruise? Just wonderingā€¦..
  14. Thanks for asking for this info. I blocked someone months ago, but couldnā€™t remember how to do it. For me, itā€™s the constant status mention, how many cruises they have taken and what a great job their butler does folding their undies. I certainly donā€™t begrudge them special attentionā€¦just donā€™t need to hear it in EVERY SINGLE POST. Rant over. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«
  15. A few years ago, we were able to check in in Honolulu, leave our bags including carry on bags in our cabins and head out to explore. That was shortly before Covidā€¦not sure if the same rules apply now.
  16. As long as I am in a pre-cruise hotel that has coin operated laundromat, I always try to get on the ship with clean clothes. Doesnā€™t take much time the morning that I board and is my more economical!
  17. Good thing you didnā€™t choose this past weekend to sail on QM2ā€¦reports are both that cruise and the following cruise were canceled due to engine problems. Many passengers were on their way to the port when they were advised of the cancellation. Really a bad situation.
  18. Sunset Verandah is the way to go. I had one on deck 7 on Reflection last year. Amazing views!
  19. Our favorite is Lawn Club Grill. We have pre-booked for our first night next April.
  20. Lucky mom to have such great daughters! I have sailed Reflection a couple of times; most recently, my friends and I had connecting sunset verandahs. We didn't use the connecting door in the cabin, but did ask the steward to open up the partition on the balconies...easy access and one giant balcony! Enjoy; you will love Reflection! Susan
