You can also put your valuables in the safe when you go to your cabin!

I have sailed in a SV on both deck 8 and 10 on Edge. Excellent cabins with a true balcony and excellent view of the wake. I have a deck 9 SV booked on Apex. I’m okay with the long walk as it allows me extra desert! 😋

Check out their website. They offered several tours that included the caves. It was a wonderful day.

You can take the water taxi from the port area over to Hamilton and back again. We bought our tickets earlier in the day to save time. There are food vendors lining the Main Street (I was in Heaven eating a warm funnel cake) in addition to the permanent restaurants. Also crafts and dancing. It’s a fun time! Happy birthday 🎁. What a great way to celebrate.

We booked a private excursion for our middle, full day…from approximately 9am for 6 hours…through Viator…we were picked up at the ship and stopped at the Crystal Caves (gorgeous), off to Hamilton to wander for awhile and lastly to Horseshoe Beach (also gorgeous). If you are there on Wednesday, there is a street festival in Hamilton which was fun.

Check out a review titled Silhouette Side by Side. Written by GenX. She spent 4 nights on Silhouette followed by (not sure how many) nights on MSC. I believe she is still on MSC. I love her reviews; however, she was in a Royal Suite on Silhouette and now in MSC’s Yacht Club. I can’t relate to high end amenities (I am a SV cruiser) so didn’t finish the review. I’m sure you can get the comparison you want.

We booked Celebrity’s Pearl Island excursion last year when we sailed on Edge. Boat ride to/from the ship. It’s a small island with a beach…a few water toys. We really enjoyed the BBQ that was included. Also climbed a few floors to the top of the lighthouse for a pretty view. Very low key day!

SV is the only way to go!

We were there most recently a year ago and returning in a few weeks. I have never done the water taxi but have already bought a ticket for next month and am looking forward to it. Always stop at Publix across the street and Primanti Brothers is another must!

We stay at Hilton Gallery One on Sunrise Blvd. I am traveling with friends who are redeeming points. Close to the beach, Galleria Mall and restaurants.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We sail on Equinox next month and enjoy half of our dinners in the OVC. Fixing a plate and eating outdoors is a treat. Happy to hear that choices are still available.

Side by side cruises…royal suite…first class air…handsome husband…adorable daughter… I want to be you when I grow up 😉

I used that email address today, stated my case, included my phone number in my signature line and received a call within a few hours. Nothing will change by the time I sail next month, but the person I spoke with acknowledged that feedback is important; and nothing is set in stone as far as these changes to the OVC being permanent.

I sailed both Edge and Reflection since the re-start. Each time, the ship sailed at about 30-40% capacity. On each sailing the OVC offerings were the same as pre-Covid. Lots of selection!

St. Kitts…definitely Carambola Beach Club…but try to do it independently rather than the ship’s excursion. And in Barbados, I would recommend another private excursion which is Calabaza Catamaran. Book direct…only 12 passengers allowed…great lunch…beautiful day. We already have it planned for 2024 😎
