  1. I checked the menu for my upcoming cruise and you are right. They are selling both wines from Opus at almost retail price. Now is the time to enjoy a bottle!!!
  2. I just looked at the menu and you are correct, they have both Opus One and Overture for basically retail price. Good deal!!!
  3. Does it say Opus One or Opus Overture?? Retail is $395 and $150 respectively.
  4. And premium coffees....they even will make you a take away coffee.
  5. They exist but are only allowed to sell to certain individuals. I was in the aviation industry and the TA I use can get me AI pricing for just a touch more than Cruise Only via X's website. That being said, it is sometimes cheaper to use a traditional TA because I benefit from all of X's OBC and the TA OBC. I price the cruise on multiple sites before purchasing. My aviation TA has insanely low deals on Cruise Only pricing but I normally use them for cheap pricing on more premium cruise lines.
  6. Same for us but they did make me the best double espresso I had that entire cruise.
  7. I don't even know what I am doing next Thursday!!
  8. You can carry 8, just let them hold 4 hostage for the first cruise and then collect the next 4 for the second half.
  9. If you are trying to dine with them, just link the accounts and they should seat you together. Otherwise, stop by the Dining Room when you board to accomplish this.
  10. When we sail Windstar, they limit you to one reservation per specialty venue per week (they are all free) and this allows everyone to enjoy the experience. On Celebrity, all the specialties are pay per use so why would they want to limit the experience and potentially reduce profits. In a perfect world, they would sell so many dining packages pre cruise that it would not allow for any walk ins except the top tier suites (dine for free).
  11. As stated already, if the spa is all you desire, just buy the weeklong pass and call it a day.
  12. Looking forward to joining this cruise in a few days. We leave on Tuesday and will spend the night at the Southampton Harbour Hotel.
  13. We did this on a previous cruise, when the rule was only two per cabin. I had two in checked luggage and two in my backpack. No visit to the naughty room for us, we enjoyed all 4 bottles.
  14. This was about 10 years ago but our dining table mates used to buy a split or two of local wine at each port and carry it back on the ship in his pants cargo pockets. Never stopped once by security.
  15. I just booked the cruise yesterday afternoon. In my experience, the Move Up normally appears available 24-36 hours after booking is completed. In the case of my last few last minute cruises this is what happened. I have always been able to move up when booking with my TA so unless I booked too close to the sailing window, I may be able to upgrade. I will find out tonight or tomorrow. Worst case scenario, I can board and inquire about available cabins.
  16. I just had 6405 assigned via a GTY Inside booking I made about 9 days before embarkation. Barring any Move Up I may or may not be offered, I will let y'all know about this cabin size.
  17. Having just had a giant seafood tower at LAVO in Las Vegas the week before the cruise, I rated the Porch's attempt at a 2. Shrimp were small, cold mussels, no oysters, no King crab, too many seafood like salads. I also had the Lobster roll and was absolutely disappointed. Just my opinion.
  18. In the publicly available locker rooms there is usually a dry sauna that is available to everyone on the ship without Thermal Suite access. On an E class ship, a weeks pass is about $200-250 a week for the pass, not sure about M or S class (Thermal suite is much smaller).
  19. Just my personal opinion, if the price of a 7 day cruise in Aqua is more than $400 more than a regular balcony, I will pass. It is cheaper to buy a spa pass and I would take the extra cash and specialty dine. Of course with Aqua now including the "All Included" package, you will need to figure out that value in the price difference as well.
  20. Every time you head back to the cabin, grab a soda and water at any bar to stock up.
  21. I was on the Apex in an S1 in February. The mirror in the bathroom opens up and there Is a window there. It is not open when the mirror is opened.
  22. Visit them when you board the cruise, there will be availability.
  23. You are only 1 delayed or cancelled flight from missing that cruise. NEVER fly in the day of embarkation.
