Does anyone know if/when the other M class ships will be refurbished? We are on the Summit this summer...just curious.

Thanks for pointing us to these. Love the muted colour scheme everywhere. We shall be in a Celebrity Suite in November and I am SO pleased with what they have done. I was dreading them being ruined. However, the photograph labelled Sky Suite Bedroom is actually the Celebrity Suite Bedroom. Also love the Royal Suite. We shall be in one on Infinity immediately after her drydock. Can't wait!

Hmm- we just booked a Panama Canal cruise on Infiinity for Oct 28, 2011..

 

I am wondering if this will be before or after the refurb-- I would not want to be on her just before or just after the project so maybe we will have to change our plans.......If anyone has a more precise time frame pls post it--I will try to go through the schedule to figure it out if I can...

Uh OH !!!

I haven't been able to find the sticky which may have the exact dates for the Infiinty refurb but looking over the schedule, it seems we may have booked the cruise just before she goes into drydock..

 

The schedule shows her in Alaska RT Seattle through 9/26/11.

Then on 9/26 she goes from Seattle to FLL through 10/13

On 10/13 she goes from Ft Lauderdale to San Diego

Our cruise would be 10/28 San Diego to FLL

 

then there is nothing for all of Nov 2011

and then she goes to South America...probably looking all nice & new!

 

I am hoping someone can help me confirm this..b/c if true we will cancel...do not want that last cruise--crew will be tired, they may even start some of the work etc etc etc.. Very disappointed in this & I did ask the rep when we booked yesterday if he knew when the refurb was but he did not...

Yes, she is being refurbed in Nov 2011. We are thinking about booking one of the post-referb canal trips in March 2012....still awaiting cabin photos on the Connie refurb.

Check out the other threads. There is at least one where someone was worry about travelling pre-drydock and they were reassured.

Hope all is well with you--It;s been awhile... we just came back from a Mex Riviera cruise on Radiance--it was great fun!

 

We did look at the Panama Canal cruise you have booked, but I believe it is on Easter and would affect our air travel. it is going E to West--we want to go the opposite route......but we'll take another look. it'd be fun to cruise with you again!

 

Sal will have to cancel this one today--although I appreciate Sue's encouraging words, I know the store will be low on items, everyone will be anticipating the changes and it just won't be the same.We would prefer not to have this be a factor for us...so we'll look for something else...we have several others booked right now anyhow so we aren't too sad...

Yes, I can certainly understand your hesitation on this 'last' sailing, and on doing the east-west itinerary with us.

 

You could always go for broke and do our Canal sailing and then combine it with the next Alaska sailing as some are doing. Would make the east-west less of an issue. Hehehehe.

We did cancel our Infinity trip but will follow this thread...can't wait to hear more about the "new Constellation" !!!! Love all the photos!

Can only agree [except we use the champagne bar!]. It is a shame. It was the one thing we did not like about Infinity. Still looking forward to being on Constellation again, though.

Do you have any idea what cabins on the Constellation are larger. I heard some of the 2A's have larger balconies? Thanks! ojada
