I read on the Norwegian web site that two drinks are included with the "entry fee" for the Ice Bar on the Epic. Can anyone tell me how much the entry fee is?

It was $20 in September. It was fun, well worth the charge!

Correct. 20 per person, 45 minutes, two Vodka type fruity drinks, free use of a warm coat. :)

We had a lot of fun and we did not even stay the whole 45mins...thats a long time in the ice! The drinks were very strong too fun times!

Cost is $20 per person and includes two drinks from the following menu. You are given drink coupons, which you exchange with the bartender. Additional drinks are $8.75 each + 15 percent gratuity.

 

 

There are six specialty drinks made from SVEDKA vodka and Inniskillin ice wine including:

 

· Polaris: SVEDKA Citron, Inniskillin ice wine, and lemon/lime soda;

 

· Cobalt Blue: Inniskillin ice wine, SVEDKA vodka and Blue Curacao;

 

· Nordic Apple Juice: SVEDKA vodka, Sour Apple Schnapps, Midori and a splash of fresh sour;

 

· Caribbean Dreams: SVEDKA Citron, Triple Sec and lemon juice;

 

· Sunburst Yellow: SVEDKA vodka, peach liquor and orange juice; and

 

· Northern Lights: SVEDKA Citron, Cointreau and Blue Curacao.

 

There are also two non-alcoholic drinks – the Strawberry Eskimo Kiss made of strawberry puree, pineapple juice and lemon juice and the Creamsickle, with orange juice, vanilla ice cream and milk.

 

All drinks are served in specially-created glasses made entirely of ice.

I had high expectations of the Ice Bar and they were exceeded. It was a great time. They give you a parka and gloves but if you really want to stay the full 40 mins, bring a winter hat in your suitcase. It kept us so warm and we almost made the full 40.

It is a full adrenaline rush to be drinking vodka in such cold temperatures and them come into the warm again after 40 minutes.

One of the best places on Epic for photos to be taken.

HINT HINT

Take care of the bartenders and they will take care of you. We got to sample alot more than we paid for ;)

Hi all!

 

I'm just back from the Epic & got to try the ice bar this time. It's worth the $20!:D

I had the Sunburst Yellow followed by the Strawberry Eskimo Kiss, yummy!

 

BTW if you don't stay the whole 45 minutes you can take the drink out with the ice glass inside a plastic glass.

Haven't been there for several years but when there it was a set menu of five or six drinks. Very delicious.

If you have UBP can you get extra drinks free?  Like vodka shots in ice glass?

Maybe someone else can chime in but I don't believe you can use your drinks package in the Ice Bar.

Last time we were on the Epic, there was a set list of 6 vodka-based drinks (see post #6 above) they offered (and 2 non-alcoholic drinks). It is NOT a regular bar.
