paul929207 Posted December 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Welcome to Cruise Critic. It depends on the cruise line you are sailing with. Most of the lines offerring short cruises do not allow you to bring onboard alcohol.
CruiserBruce Posted December 23, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2011 The ability to bring alcohol on board varies by cruise line. Without knowing what cruise line you are on, we can't help you.
sail7seas Posted December 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Are you willing to lose the bottle? If not, don't bring it. It could be confiscated with intent to return it to you at the end of the cruise but they sometimes never are delivered or are broken or whatever. If your cruise line bans bringing liquor aboard, you are taking a risk of losing it.
Colorado Kat Posted December 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Is it a bottle of wine or alcohol? If wine, you can bring it on Carnival.

sail7seas Posted December 23, 2011 #11 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Well, then...... you have your answer. It isn't allowed. Enjoy your celebration with all the beverages available on board and open your special bottle either before or after your cruise. Have a great cruise.
