JPTexan82 Posted March 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2012 I just wondering what kind of swiming suits are ok on a ship? What if it is kind of tight, Ive seen people with them on what do you think. Nothing worse going down a slide and have a embressing moment.

Indianaseadog Posted March 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2012 Curious if jptexan doesnt get the response he wants here if he will go to JH's facebook or blog to stir it up there too like he did with another topic? I would think his arms are getting tired with all the "stirring of pot" he is doing. I dont know what your are talking about. I was refering to swimming suits. This pot you are talking about, I do not do drugs. But I do know that some people like to wear blue jean shorts as swimming trunks and those have metal buttons on them which can cause damage. You may think I like to stir something, but the only thing to stir is my Martini on the pool deck.

mondello Posted March 1, 2012 #13 Share Posted March 1, 2012 I wouldn't rate cut-offs much higher from a sanitary standpoint.

The pools are salt water and emptied and filled daily. Princess (at least the Crown Princess) has freshwater (chorinated) pools.

Rare Essiesmom Posted March 1, 2012 #23 Share Posted March 1, 2012 I believe they disallow cut-off jeans in pools because the threads that ravel off will damage the filters. EM

EM metal grommets can scratch the slides' fiberglass (or whatever it's material). Most waterparks have the same ban, even on bathing suits with heavy decorative metal. marshhawk Posted March 1, 2012 #25 Share Posted March 1, 2012 Why did I even start readin this thread- the reason one shouldnt wear cut offs is that loose threading from material can kill a pump motor. they are great for the ocean and a lake, but not a pool
