Circumnavigation of Antarctica sailing out of New Zealand instead of South Ameri Alaska to Iceland via the Northwest Passage. Easter Island. Not a cruise but China to Russia via the Trans Siberian railroad. DON

Karynanne Posted June 28, 2012 #42 Share Posted June 28, 2012 My cruising bucket has been pretty much fulfilled, but we'd love to take a European River cruise, and really visit cities from a different perspective, and use the river boat as a hotel. But there are itineraries I like to repeat again. Australia, New Zealand, So. Pacific and Hawaii. Wonderful trips!
Beach Nut Posted June 28, 2012 #43 Share Posted June 28, 2012 When I was a kid I dreamed of cruising the Sea of Tranquility. :p Ha Ha Ha - glad you're back! Was that "Winken, Blinken and Nod"? Tell us that you're not addicted to balcony cabins now. Susan
Can'tstopcruising Posted June 28, 2012 #44 Share Posted June 28, 2012 My REAL bucket list. I would like to see more of Provence. I have planned this trip so many times (in my head) and so far it has not materialized. We talk about Argentina and must do it one of these days. We would like to spend time in Buenos Aires and do Salta & the north. I haven't been to Switzerland since 1963 and would love to return! I would love to do the Italian Lake district. I could go on and on! WARNING! Do as much as you can while you are young. When you reach a certain age, travelling becomes more difficult and it becomes necessary to simplify you trips. ThursdaysChild Posted June 28, 2012 #45 Share Posted June 28, 2012 So many cruises on the Bucket List, so little time! :-( In no particular order: South Pacific/Tahiti Norwegian Fjords (scheduled Aug 2013 !) Panama Canal (hopefully also in 2013) Venice and the Adriatic The Baltics Galapagos Australia & New Zealand Trans-Pacific(southern route) Antarctica and maybe, towards the end of my life, a World Cruise. Beach Nut Posted June 28, 2012 #46 Share Posted June 28, 2012 The Marquesas on the Aranui 3 - have put this off for 7 or 8 years because I'm hesitant about the small size of the ship The British Isles Caribbean Princess itinerary - must do soon! South America with Celebrity from Buenos Aires to Santiago, with a side trip to Macchu Pichu for 2 nights at the Sanctuary Lodge - waiting for Celebrity to deploy a new ship on this itinerary, but may give in first Tahiti with Princess, as it's a lot more affordable than the Paul Gauguin and goes to many islands I want to see Greenland, Iceland, Norway fjords - whoever has a restrictive smoking policy and stays in the ports the longest 35 day Oceania cruise through the Seychelles - if we can ever get away for that long - not too likely - also, waiting for them to deploy a new ship on this itinerary Holy Land/Egypt Celebrity cruise - when it feels safe

sjaak Posted June 28, 2012 #49 Share Posted June 28, 2012 Bali (if everything goes alright, we will get there next January) St. Petersburg Amazon River Cruise that makes it possible to make a sidetrip to Macchu Pichu Hawaii Australia/New Zealand Great Wall / Forbidden Palace / Terracotta Warriors in China And I would love to do a worldcruise one day. But DH thinks a 14-day cruise is long and he's willing (for me) to stay longer onboard for - say - a 30-day cruise, but he also said that I have to wait with a worldcruise till he is no longer around anymore :(
