Return from Rotterdam

We have just returned from the Rotterdam and would like to make the following early observations:

First, the Noro problem seems well behind them and services are provided normally.

Also, we all know Rotterdam is not as young as she used to be. Still, the vessel seems in remarkable condition. Our cabin was like new and public rooms show no sign of neglect. There were problems in other cabins but I will leave that to the full review.

The staff is friendly, Park West is ever present (for better or worse) and the Canaletto remains the best value restaurant at sea.

My review will reflect this, as well as what I perceive to be the effect of cost-cutting by Seattle on the overall cruise experience.

Any worries about code red or the condition of the ship can be set aside now however if you are thinking of booking.

Smooth sailing...
