sail7seas Posted August 5, 2012 #14 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Darn..... I missed the sailaway. I was busy fixing steamed clams and huge steamed lobsters for our dinner. Seeing we won't be in Halifax on Maasdam this summer, we're making up for it with lobsters from our local pound (that's what they call the place we buy live, in the tank, still swimming lobsters.) Happy for those of you that watched the sailaway. Hopefully next week..... :)

Shmoo here Posted August 5, 2012 #19 Share Posted August 5, 2012 NCL is coming out now. Guess I'm the only one watching today. What's the webcam link? Thanks :)
Rare rafinmd Posted August 6, 2012 #20 Share Posted August 6, 2012 What's the webcam link? Thanks :) See these posts from the daily fleet locations report: Veendam -- NEW YORK, NEW YORK 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM Webcam: http://www.wirednewyork.com/webcam3/ Webcam: http://www.nyharborwebcam.com/index.html Thanks for the update, Lisa. The wirednewyork webcams have been stuck on July 4 or 5 for a month now, wonder what's wrong there. The intrepid webcam also seems to have a static out of date image. One other webcam available for sailaway covers the Hudson roughly from Holland tunnel to Bovernors Island. Lou's camera is the best but it concentrates on 1 ship at a time so there may be some good opportunities to see the Veendam while Lou is focused on the Disney Magic. http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/statueofliberty/?cam=liberty_hd Roy

sail7seas Posted August 6, 2012 #22 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Dam you guys are making me droll, back to the ham sandwich. Yeah you and me both.:D You are ALL more than welcome. Invites will be published for the next clambake at Chez Sail. :) I'll make sure it coincides with a sailaway to make it a true CC /HAL cruisers party. :) Those lobsters were wonderful. So big we couldn't finish. Hello, lobster salad for lunch tomorrow. :)
