What a wonderfull cruise we had.

It 's our first hal cruise after once rcl and once ncl.

I want to thank the crew for the service they gave us.

They deserve the service charge!

The Rotterdam is the smallest ship we cruised on, it never felt crowded and everything is close by. There is no promenade, no ice scate ring, no zip line, no water slide, etc. and we didn't mis them at all. We loved the pub trivia that we won 3 times (Thanks to our team members). First price was a free drink for the team. Our kids loved club hal and the dvd rental service.

The food was realy good, I loved breakfast in the mdr.

The only negative part was the noise in our room. We constantly heard engine noise. It wake us up the first night but then we got used to it. But we took THE cheapest room, and we where on ship not a hotel.

Norway is very nice, the fjords are breathtaking. But norway is so expensive.

Next year we cruise again, and if the rates are good it wil be with hal.

Thank you for the review, but for newer readers who might see your statement "no promenade", could get confused. I think you meant "no interior shopping mall type promenade," because all HAL ships have promenades, GREAT promenades, on the exterior, with wonderful loungers that we love.

Yes, HAL has exactly what a promenade should be.
