Just booked a cruise for January 19 on the Eurodam and even at this date (after final payment) there is no Roll Call yet ... Getting a lounger at the Sea View Pool or entrance to Pinnacle Grill should not be a problem :D

It happens. IMO main reason is that everyone wants some one else to take the responsibility and do the organizing.

 

Want a Roll Call? Why not start one? It take some effort and perseverance to get one started. Also have to remember that only a small percentage of cruisers are aware of or utilize Cruise Critic.

Doesn't seem to be much of an issue on this cruise. Their website says "sold out" but the Holland America site still has lots of cabins left in every category and is reducing fares right now.

Right -- that group will book only so many cabins from HAL and once they sell them to their members, then they are sold out.

Maybe you will be the only one along with the Gospel group.

We originally booked this cruise and cancelled after finding out about this large group. Saw video from their last cruise and they filled the main show lounge so I believe it could be up to 1,000 group pax. We felt it would definitely impact public rooms and dining options.

Oh but how I would love to see your name on a cruise that I am booked! I'd love to meet you! One day... I do respect the privacy of people though and once, just once, I did not sign up either.
