Semi live from Reflection

Stateroom 1605 seems to be occupied so not sure there will be any opportunity to find out much about it

Last night's show, Monentum, lots of glitz, three excellent aerialists, lead voices just average, dancing good and flashy choreography but there's really no substance to it.

Docked next to NCL Epic today. Sail away brought rather more of a view of several of their pax than I might have chosen. Shall we say moons and full Monty's were visible!!!!!!

Oh my! That sounds a little more colorful than the whooping and hollering from the Carnival cruise ship that pulled out before us when we were on the Equinox last month! Let's see how much of this show ends up on youtube. :p

Arrived puerto Rico between 2 and 3

Donette is captains club hostess

Dinner tonight included hake, rugatoni, lamb shank, grilled rib eye steak

Donette is very good. Will be nice seeing her again. Do you know if Angela is onboard? Have a great cruise.

Confirming that this week Reflection did not dock at Havensight in St Thomas. It should, however, be there next week.

Next week's itinerary when I am sailing should be St Maarten, not St Thomas! Did you go to St Thomas? Thanks for your continuing updates!

My bad...I was seriously confused. Next week the ship does not call on St Thomas . We WERE there today.

Tonight's entrees included sea bass, pappardelle with mushrooms, lamb korma, chicken with some sort of cheese filling

Lamb korma was very good. Sea bass needed seasoning

Have returned to just off puerto Rico for a medical emergency. Helicopter on its way.

No worries...one cruise day at a time :D Thanks for food updates. I hope the medical emergency is resolved quickly for those in need of the care!

Thought I would just jump in and say that the ship is indeed fantastic.:):)

Entertainment had been super. Loved the Reflection show - so nice to hear songs I actually remember. (Including Born to run!!). Did see Rory perform but haven't met him yet. Wonderful wine and cheese concert on the lawn last night.

Blu is the best of all our Blu experiences - food and service excellent.

Glad you got to see Rory! His family is visiting him on this cruise, so he isn't probably around too much. Lucky duck got an iPad for Christmas from his brother...and a visit from his family! :)

Enjoy the rest of your cruise, I LOVED the ship!!!

Can't promise the menus b/c camera broke . Yes St Thomas and st. Maarten are tge land of cheap cameras, but don't plan to buy a new one but will take notes of each nights entrees next week if that will help

Thanks so much!! I'm really enjoying your reports.

Was there any special entertainment on board ship when it was docked at San Juan?

Not a happy camper tonight, formal night. Went to MDR select. The room had a district smell of fish, not enough ventilation. Couldn't stay. Retreated to stateroom for room service.

Menu included beef Wellington, lobster, portobello mushroom.

NO special entertainment brought aboard in San Juan

Sorry to hear the MDR smelled like fish. My DH wouldn't like that either. Must have been serving a lot of lobster.

I guess we'll have to find our own entertainment in San Juan. Too bad we're there on a Monday.

Thanks so much for the turnaround info. Can you let me know if any of the hot tubs will be open in the morning? We'll be watching you sail away tonight, have a wonderful 2nd week :)
