My 5,000th post!

 

I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation to the many people that make this forum possible. The CC hosts (shout out to Andy!!!) who donate their own time to referee the "discussions" and keep this forum civilized and keep us up to date when Celebrity's own marketing department and travel agents drops the ball

 

Thanks to all the veteran cruisers who enthusiastically share their insider tips - these have helped make my own cruise experience so much more enjoyable, and often less expensive. I'm glad to do my part in continuing the CC tradition by keeping up the S class spreadsheet.

 

Thanks to all who join and participate in the Roll calls - it can make the lead up to the cruise and the actual cruise even more fun. We have formed friendships that out last a cruise and cruise-friends whom we would never have known if it wasn't for CC.

 

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to review their cruise in a fair, balanced way. I really enjoy reading about others' experiences ...it eases the pain of waiting for the next cruise. A special shout out to those who write live reviews and photo reviews. I know how much work that takes, especially when you are just returning from a vacation, but the CC community is so appreciative that it makes it worthwhile. Keep those photos coming - especially the food and drink porn!

 

Lastly, a big thanks to all of you who post here and make this a fun place to visit. Believe it or not, the job of a Library Director is quite stressful and my "cruise hobby" has provided hours (while might be days worth) of distraction from work concerns and frustrations - not while at work of course.

Librarylady - congratulations! I think the effort involved with putting together the spreadsheet and keeping that up to date is worth another 5000 "bonus" posts so in my book - you're at 10,000 already! :)
