39august Posted May 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Last week on Jewel, the Concierge Lounge cocktail time and the evening Diamond Event were held only from 5 PM to 8 PM instead of the usual 8:30 PM. Has this become the norm fleet-wide? We had a new concierge (new to the Jewel), so I thought it might just be her preference.
leaveitallbehind Posted May 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Haven't heard of or experienced that. All of our cruises where we've had Concierge Lounge access has been until 8:30.

If so, that may explain it. If not, it remains a mystery. :)

On our Freedom Cruise in December the hours in the CL & DL were 4:30 to 8PM because First Seating was at 5:30.
Bobal Posted May 12, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2013 6.00 - 9.00 on Legend last week but that's probably because it's sailing in the Med when the dining hours are later.

39august Posted May 13, 2013 Author #11 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I did, but she said it was fleet-wide, and frankly, I didn't believe her because she was new. Responses show I was right.
molly361 Posted May 13, 2013 #12 Share Posted May 13, 2013 The second seating was at 8:30. Anyone else just off an RCI ship last week? We were on the 5/2 Jewel cruise. the CL hours were 5-8pm. I wondered about that but we go early. I was thinking that those on the 8:30 seating might not like it too much
