So all these OBC can be combined? I had read someplace that the military OBC can not be used for casino or gratituties? do the others work like that as well. Sounds like the stockholder is really good as well. We do not own but may think about it. thanks again for all your help.

On Princess, all the OBC is combinable. We get the FCC, Shareholde and Loyalty OBC from Princess plus whatever we can get from our TA. I was not in the Military, so not eligible for that one, but those eligible, it could be added to the others.

Thank you Paul and Pia!!

I called Princess this morning and spoke with a Captain Circle Rep and we did get 2 additional cruise credits each (for a total of 3) for our 49 day Grand Princess cruise. I would never have called if I hadn't read your posts on this thread. It hasn't changed our loyalty level. We're still Platinum, but it will help us as we cruise towards Elite (still a lot of cruises to go;) We're on the Ocean Princess for a b2b in January Hawaii and then Tahiti.

Thanks again,

Heather

Yes, that is what you read you can still read it.

But....the onboard accounting system is not sophisticated enough to decide what charges can be offset by what OBC.

So the result is that any charge to the onboard account will be offset by OBC until the OBC is used up.

I just booked a b2b on the GOLDEN for Oct of this year. I should have checked this board first. I booked it online myself and got 2 booking numbers. Not sure now if that is the best, but we are trying to build up our cruise credits. What are the pros & cons for 1 booking number vs 2 booking numbers??? These are each 3 day cruises. Now how does this work? Do we disembark at the end of the 1st leg, then have to go thru the check-in process again? and then wait to board along with new passengers? Any other info you can give me about b2b's would be greatly appreciate.

You have no worries. The October sailings for the Golden are all individual sailings, there are no combined sailings that could be booked as a single cruise. You'll get two credits, one for each cruise.

Call Princess and make sure they understand the two bookings are really a B2B for you. They'll make a note in the file and things will be much simpler for the between cruise processing.

At the end of the first cruise, probably on the last night, you'll get a new cruise card delivered to your cabin for the next segment. It is likely you'll also get an In Transit voucher as well. You will have to get off the ship in Los Angeles and be processed through Customs and/or Immigration (difference doesn't really matter) as an In-Transit Passenger. There may be a short wait in the terminal as they must process everyone off the ship before the In-Transit people can reboard. You do not have to check-in again and you should reboard (if you want to, I'd go tour the battleship) before the new passengers. They will take a new photo the first time you use your new cruise card.

Thank you so much for all the advice. I really appreciate it. I have to call Princess anyway because bookin this online didn't bring up the FCC's that we got on our Hawaii cruise last year.....So I need to inform them of that b4 I make any payment....

You will get the second minibar setup and internet minutes no matter how you book.

So just to clarify . . . . we'll be doing a B2B2B2B (4 booking numbers) next year and are currently Platinum. Two of the segments will be 3-day cruises and two will be 4-day cruises, adding up to 14 days total; all in a full suite.

The Internet credit for Platinum is 150 minutes for a cruise lasting 7-day or less, so should I get 600 Internet minutes during the entire 14 days??

And will we get 4 minibar setups (or the other choices) for being in a full suite during the 14 days??

Four flower arrangements? Four of each of the full suite perks??
