Favorite Princess Ship?

Whichever one I can manage to get on! :D

We've only sailed on two (Sea Princess and Star Princess) and been on a third (Grand Princess) for a BVE but do have a cruise booked on it for later.

We liked some things about the larger Star that weren't available on Sea Princess but there were other things about Sea Princess we liked better such as the wider Promenade deck and Cafe Corniche.

I'm just grateful that we have finally started cruising and, even though we are still constrained by work and finances, we will continue to cruise Princess and I would bet we will love every one of the ships we sail on.

(Three more years until retirement...)

The coral, has the refurbished HC, and the IC which its sister ship the Island hasn't had yet. Like being able to walk the prominade deck w/o going up any stairs. Always feel spacious even when sailing full. Best ship for doing the canal and oh yes, the casino has ALWAYS been good to me, in April I left $2000.00 ahead on my 14 day....Jim

Sapphire/Diamond because they're large and carry fewer passengers than the other larger ships and they have the extra wading pool on the aft section.

Ocean-Because tendering is easy and I like the small feel and fewer kids onboard.

Coral/Island-Most people will say these 2 ships. Although I like the size, the layout drives me crazy with the HC in the bow and the gym in the stern - totally opposite of the other ships. :(Takes me about 5 days to get used to it, then we get off the ship!

CB-Only because I had my 2 favorite cruises on her - a special family Christmas cruise with perfect weather and my British Isles cruise.

My mind may change tomorrow. ;)

Sapphire as a ship - elegance, elegance, elegance.

Golden for the staff - but of course that can change with contracts and time.

Emerald for the itineraries.

And we agree with some of the others - ANY Princess ship if you can get away..........

What is your favorite Princess ship and why?

Thank you! :)

I have been on the Star, Grand, Golden, Caribbean, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Coral. I liked the Sapphire best because of she had 4 small main dinning rooms amidships rather than two large ones. The crew was fantastic also.

My next favorite would be the Coral because of the fewer number of passengers on this relatively large ship.

The Ruby was amazing, but I think the Star might be my current fav. Not for the amenities... It hosted the best, most helpful, most pleasant staff I have ever encountered. They were such a lovely team! (and the guest really felt it, too!)

Crown, Ruby, Emerald - They are copies of each other

Reasons:

Great view from the putt putt on deck 19

Adagio bar

Tiered lounger seating facing MUTS

And any ship which has:

Walk around promenade with loungers/chairs on deck 7

Explorer's Lounge

International Café

Skywalker's
