Delmarva cruiser Posted February 10, 2014 #51 Share Posted February 10, 2014 We hope you make Coco Cay 83 degrees with only 5 mph wind - more than perfect. the alternative is 5 sea days... We are watching your ship sit on http://portcanaveralwebcam.com/ and someone from our next week cruise on Freedom of the Seas said it was slated to leave now at 8:00 p.m. Bon Voyage! OmaK Posted February 10, 2014 #52 Share Posted February 10, 2014 I also have a friend on board who texted me that there's a problem with the thrusters. I hope they aren't delayed too much longer. Oma K
mspink98 Posted February 10, 2014 #53 Share Posted February 10, 2014 It's possible I could end up feeling differently later in the week, but I really don't care, lol. I'm on vacation, toilets and shower are working fine, we're well fed and fully hydrated in any way we might want. Life is good.
TangoCruz Posted February 10, 2014 #54 Share Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) 8:00 PM and we're still at the dock. Wife & I enjoying the Champagne Bar. Captain told us at 4:00 PM muster that divers were working on a thruster problem. NO information has been shared since. cooncat Posted February 10, 2014 #63 Share Posted February 10, 2014 I cannot believe she is 8 years old. I was on her in 2007 on her first official Eastern Caribbean cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Martin. What a cruis.

SherriZ366 Posted February 10, 2014 #74 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Late diners at Fishlips and the other channel side restaurants got a good show tonight. We usually eat at Milliken's Reef but the ships are usually gone.
wolfcathorse Posted February 10, 2014 #75 Share Posted February 10, 2014 And that she stays fixed for our May 4 cruise and everyone else's!! Wonder if she will make Coco Cay tomorrow. don't worry about CocoCay, they're only a 4 hour sail away at top speed. it's only 50 miles from CocoCay to Nassau, my captain friend told me they literally drift from CocoCay to Nassau. So instead of a leisurely fuel saving pace from PC to CocoCay, the Captain will have to burn some fuel to get there as scheduled tomorrow, and that eats into his bonus! No wonder he sounded unhappy.
