Can you advise if it acceptable to wear a good dressy polo short for dinner in MDR. I mean a good dressy one, not an expensive sporty one.

You're welcome to wear any type Polo shirt. BTW, I need clarification on the difference between a "good dressy" one and an "expensive sporty" one. Just curious...

IMHO Good dressy is a silk Tommy Bahama-like polo. Expensive sports is Lacoste or Ralph Lauren.

From what I have seen, it would be perfect for formal nights as well :)

Where we live the best store in town is K-Mart and the nearest Walmart is 65 miles away. Would it be OK to wear a polo bought from K-Mart?

I believe Royal requires shirts to be purchased at Target or better.

Good advice, but when the Fashion Enforcement Team outside the MDR asks where your shirt was purchased, make sure you use the French sounding pronunciation of Target, "Tar-zhay". Sounds much classier, and the Enforcement Team will be much less likely to detain you for a violation.

Only if you have a balcony or better. Suite Cruisers (JS excluded) are required to wear socks to dinner.
