Sorry if this has been discussed recently, but I'm a Saints season ticket holder and will be missing two games. Any idea where I can watch them on this ship?!

Thanks & WHO DAT!?!

You will be able to see them on your cabin TV or a bar or casino TV if they are on the Satellite. There is a same probability that they will be on unless it's the game of the week. Even then it depends on the satellite feed. They do subscribe to the Super Bowl feed, but you won't need to worry about that :)

My experience has been you will be able to see the CBS and/or Fox games of the week and NBC/Sunday night and ESPN MNF. How odd your experience has been so different.

I think y'all may both be on my cruise (Oville & Orator). It's 12/14/14 & 12/21/14. No clue which networks, but thanks for the info!

You will find me in my Saints jersey!

We are huge fans and cheer for a team that is often the CBS game of the week. To be honest, I find it a bit depressing to be sailing in the Caribbean and glued to a TV screen for 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon. My hubby on the other hand can't understand my position.;):D

Yes, you are correct, we are on the Constellation in December, but our b2b starts on the 8th and ends on the 22nd. I think your cruise starts on the 13th.

You are correct- will get on the ship on 12/13/14. What cabin did you choose? I have you on our roll call list but don't have any info next to your name.

I do Agee that it's silly to give up hours of relaxation time for a game, but I love football & I love my Saints!

Look forward to meeting you!

You will have to wait and find out after you board the ship.

There is no guaranty your particular game is going to be shown. This

would just be an FYI.....if missing the game is going to ruin your cruise?

Just dvd it and don't listen to anything on the ship so you can watch

it when you get home.

Really no difference in what we're saying. He will see the Saints if they are a featured game and if they can get the satellite pick up on ship. Just. Ship can select games unless thet subscribe.

Oh, missing the game will not dampen my cruise spirit! It will be nice to see part of the game and know who won. I am DVR'ing both games while I am away. I'm a season ticket holder and love my Saints. Nothing wrong with polling the audience to see what my chances are. If it works out, great, if not I will catch up when I get home! :D

Ships usually carry ESPN so you'll see the score.

Thank you! I'm not as worried now after hearing everyone's feedback. I have a feeling it will be on one of the main channels. I was on a Carnival cruise two Decembers ago and was able to view in the casino bar, but the smoke bothered me. The sacrifices we make to watch our teams!!

If I remember correctly, the game was also on in our stateroom. This is my first time on Celebrity, so I'm clueless when it comes to channels, bars with tvs, etc.

Thanks again y'all!

Here's the deal. Celebrity does not carry network TV channels, unlike Carnival. If a game is on ESPN Deportes, then you'll see it. If your game is on Thursday night, Sunday night or Monday night, it will probably be shown. They do not show every game, only those that I mention above. They do not have NFL Sunday Ticket.

The area in the casino bar is VERY small and can be crowded.

In cabin TV is very bad on Celebrity. You get a Spanish and English version of TNT (but it's not the TNT we have here in the states), Cartoon Network, Fox News, CNN International, and most of the time you're stuck with the Spanish version of ESPN.

Not just show the Super Bowl, but host a Super Bowl Party. Had one great one on Silhouette in the Theater.

I read a review recently and she mentioned a Super Bowl Party. Can't remember the details, but I know they made a production out of it!

Yep, it is awesome:D I saiiled when The Packers beat the Steelers

and the big screen...well it was A BIG SCREEN in the main theater...it

took up the entire stage:).......They served all kinds of food and had

decorations with the colors of both teams.

They had more food in the casino and they had 2 big boards for the

squares game.

No, I didn't win:rolleyes:...but I do remember one of my tablemates won the

4th Quarter......it was a BIG WIN...the squares were 10.00 and 20.00

a piece.....if memory serves, she won something like 700 bucks!

It was really fun sailing on Superbowl Sunday!:)

Sorry, but your info is incorrect. I sail often on Celebrity and have watched many CBS and Fox games during the NFL season. Typically on a Sunday you will see each network's chosen Sunday game. We are huge Pats fans and have often seen them on the CBS/Fox feeds while cruising.

As an aside, the Sunday's game of the week are covered by Phil Sims/Jim Nance and Troy Aikman/Joe Buck for CBS and Fox, respectively.

We have seen some games on the casino bar tvs, and occasionally - depending on satellite signal - games in cabins. The casino bar tv will be turned to whatever game is most popular. If you're sailing with a bunch of fans for another team don't expect the bartender to turn on the Saints games. Most popular teams tend to be the Patriots, Jets, Giants and Packers.

This is the worst news I've heard all day! But thank you for sharing! I've gathered that I will have to wait & see, but it seems my best luck is the casino bar, other bars with tv's, or my cabin! :p

DVR the game. We're Falcons ST holders and our games are never popular enough to be shown ... I always know the score before I see the game, but still watch it when we get home. Actually, I DVR every game whether we're there it not. You never know what you'll miss or want to see in replay.
