Rare Cruise Raider Posted July 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2014 I agree with all of which has already been stated above.... Definitely don't miss: A drink out at Lawn Club Hot Glass Show Martini Bar -- during the colonial show if possible provided they still have it (check out the glass elevators during the show -- if they still do it, you will know what I mean) The contests in the casino The indoor pool -- especially at night when the fountain is glowing Persian Gardens --ah!! Those heated tile chairs are the best Relaxation Lounge -- before and/or after your spa treatment or access for AQ The French fries at the mast grill The sandwich bar and stir fry station in the buffet The French onion soup in the MDR I know there are a million more things -- enjoy!! nekzaad Posted July 4, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Don't miss the Mast Grill! Fantastic hamburgers etc....its outside on the deck above the pool. Some people never know its there and miss out. I have to agree, the MAST GRILL in deck 12 is amazing. They serve burgers (vegetarian too! - nice touch) and hot dogs and they are brilliant. Much better than the ones in the Oceanview cafe (buffet) on deck 14. The cabinets above the bed is good for storage, we missed iron our first celebrity cruise in 2013, used it well in 2014. Table tennis tables come out daily in the entertainment court till around 5 pm. I personally LOVE the fruit punch, celebrity has the best choice of drinks. I am sure you will have a fabulous time. Officer Dibble Posted July 4, 2014 #11 Share Posted July 4, 2014 If you like thick juicy steaks then don't miss the Tuscan Grill.:) OD
miched Posted July 4, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Most important thing not to miss is the ship at sail away. After that just explore and don't chase after other's favorites or things to do. We chased after a few don't miss and never found them to live up to be that special or great. . A few times after doing someone's raving don't miss, sure to do we looked at eachother and laughed saying "that was it?" Cruise on. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Northern Aurora Posted July 4, 2014 #16 Share Posted July 4, 2014 While an additional fee is charged for the specialty coffees and teas at the Cafe al Bacio, remember that the desserts and pastries are included in the basic cruise fare (i.e., no additional fee). The coconut cake (which available in the evenings at the Cafe al Bacio) was simply WONDERFUL.
awhfy Posted July 4, 2014 #17 Share Posted July 4, 2014 The glass show is stupendous at night, gets hot during the day. Molecular Bar is worthy of a few visits (chocolate indulgence is amazing). Enjoy one of our favorite ships, walk around, the art is interesting Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

stratixman Posted July 7, 2014 #20 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Most important is don't miss the ship otherwise all the other suggestions won't matter. Try at least one of the speciality dining venues (we liked both Tuscan Grill and Murano but didn't try Silk Harvest) especially if you will be onboard Valentines's day and want a real memorable experience. Also, for only $5 per person upcharge don't miss the Bistro for breakfast or lunch. Outstanding. In fact, after you board instead of heading up to the Oceanview to fight the throngs in the buffet line, head instead to Bistro and make it your first meal on board. So much more relaxed. The coconut cake (which available in the evenings at the Cafe al Bacio) was simply WONDERFUL. Yep, coconut cake is great but the oatmeal cookies are wonderful too! All the desserts are free and they will package them to take away if you want! The glass show is stupendous at night, gets hot during the day. Molecular Bar is worthy of a few visits (chocolate indulgence is amazing). Enjoy one of our favorite ships, walk around, the art is interesting LOVE the Corning glass show! Some people like it a time or two, some go every time and others not so much. Wait till you see how much they sell some of the creations for at the end of the cruise:eek: Better hope you win one! coldweathergirl Posted July 8, 2014 #23 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Have a picnic on the lawn on a sea day. Brought our bottle of wine up there with some cheese that we got from the buffet and sat on towels with friends and had a great afternoon in the sun.
