Well done sir,  you will stand out in your white dinner jacket mixing in with the riff raff attired in footy shirts and shorts in the MDR, lol.

Above all, enjoy !

Colin, don't bother taking your dinner jacket on P&O. They used to have a 'Cocktail' night - not drinks but a suggestion of a dress code. We were surprised in Aug-Sept to see that they had a 'formal night'. A few men wore suits, but there weren't any dinner jackets. Most people just wore what they did on other nights.

On our last P&O cruise they had a Gatsby, back to school and white night in addition to the formal night. But with no special activities on formal night, there didn't seem to be much point in dressing up.

Love it when your OBC's are larger than the fare.🤩

Just booked a 3 nighter on Luminosa in March, $175 each for a Balcony, one of the extra large ones on deck 4.

We can get up to Brissy and back with Qantas FF points so a cheapie all round.

So many deals when I log in on Carnival, if only we had lots of annual leave.

Such a great price, we thought of just driving to Brisbane and parking the car too.

I know, we will drive if we have to.

So weird that some can't get the cheap offers. Just spoke with Bob and he can't see the offers I get.

I logged on Carnival under Andy's profile and all the cheap offers are there too, he who wouldn't even know how to log on or what his VIFP number was😂

I haven’t cruised with Carnival, but I don’t seem to get cheap deals with any line when I log in, but I know they are out there. Very strange!

If you were booked on Carnival and they cancelled due to covid they gave you a fcc for your deposit and a obc of $450 for cruises 6 days or less and $ $900 for 7 days or more . A great incentive to keep booking and a cash flow for the company . The Australian Gov kept extending and i kept booking 8 in all .😁

Been hunting for a cheaper NYE cruise. In the end manage to get 10 days on CARNIVAL LUMINOSA for first cruise 26 Dec Balcony $392 (2 people). Second cruise  7 nights  $710 (2 ppl - it was 355 pp) plus $300 OBC. The flights from Melbourne to Brisbane for 2 of us cost more  $1558 .  But not bad if you add it all up $2,660 all up for 10 nights over NYE.

Anyway, looking for hotel for night of the 25 December.  Didn't want to take the risk of flying same day. Any suggestions.

I'm trying to book the 29/12 cruise but can't get the cheap rates. It's making my brain hurt! Congrats to all those who can access it.

I couldn't get the cheap rate the other day. I just keep trying until it gave it to me. I didn't go via cruise deals. I just searched by Date and then selected from there.  There only interior or Suite left on the 29 December cruise. I went guarantee interior. Who knows maybe they upgrade me 🙂

Ok thanks. That gives me hope and I'll keep trying. I've noticed there's an array of cabins if I book triple but only interior or suite for twin or quad so they must be trying to get a bit of extra bang for buck with those cabins.

Even at the full asking price this is a pretty cheap cruise for NYE.

I logged in to Carnival via my profile, went to Offers and could see a few different ones, booked the 3 nighter under K5Y code. Went back in the next day and the K5Y offer I booked with is gone.

Logged back in under my hubbys profile and the KY5 offer is there.

So I think when you have used the offer is disappears, anyone booked more than one cruise under the K5Y sale?

If I was to book that 3 nighter now the balconies are $490.

I can still see Luminosa Flash Code QLF sale 7 nighter Queensland coast and 11 night NZ for $250p/p

I still can't see any deals. I even phoned them and they said too bad . I'll probably book something anyway because the timing suits me and the cruise is still cheap for that time of year.

Libby, it is all a bit strange as I don't get that offer code Sarah has posted.

Are you searching through your log in profile then drop down then offers?

Only asking because if I log in then just search I don't get the cheaper offers

Me thinks that ELO code is a casino generated one
