Where do you see this promotion ? I was just on the NCL website and see nothing that speaks to this . If that is the case, will cancel existing booking and re book as we have not made final payment and this would be a chunk of OBC credit for us. :D

I got an email today from my online agency but it's re Carnival and lists all the above, 10% back etc. I guess NCL might be offering the same but that would be unusual and NCL wasn't mentioned.

I hope you are right for all the folks interested.

To all - Keep in mind that you will be asked to re-book your cruise and if the cruise fare is higher, you will pay more. You will also lose any OBC from any other promotions that you got when you first booked the cruise.

Sailing in the Haven on Getaway next July. Compared this promotion to terms of my booking. For an $1100 increase in cabin price, and loss of $400 OBC, we would receive $741 in OBC. Think we'll pass.

NCL's marketing strategy is quite interesting. So they are now offering 10% off the price in OBC's. The price of a cruise we booked is now $1969. Nearly $200 could therefore be achieved in OBC. The price when we booked which was 15 months in advance was $1359 !!!. Booking early certainly pays.

Our cruise would cost $1000 more for the 4 of us, we would lose the $100 onboard credit we currently have, and we would then have $500 in onboard credit. I'll pass...it would still end up costing us $500 more than we are paying now if you subtract the onboard credit from the total price. Glad I booked a few weeks ago!

Well this is some deal! Lol

The inside guaranteed triple I booked under ksf for BA 12 day in January for $2150 including tax and port plus a $75 Obc so net cost $2075

Would now cost us $3550 net of the 10% Obc

Lol. Great deal gotta jump on it!!

Check my price for my upcoming cruise on the Breakaway on November 9th, price drop 60.00$ per person, paid in full, plus the OBC 123.80. First time with NCL, is it possible to get the difference in OBC? upgrade?

Thank you!

Ditto.

Since reading about this planned promo several days ago, and also while checking for different cabin availability on a few cruises, all I saw were price increases, fast and furious.

Everything we've checked (near OR far future) has gone up just a bit over 10% very recently.

Poor souls who take this promo may not realize that the prices will probably (??) come right back down soon. They jump all over the place - and that's fine, as NCL (and many vendors) do "dynamic pricing".

What's not so "okay" is to increase prices immediately before a sale, and then announce said "sale".
