Free Drinks Package for TA's - Has U.S. Celebrity Ever Offered It?

We did TA on EQ last April. No drink packages, but a very low price.

We did a transatlantic last December on the Silhouette and had the free drink package as part of the 1-2-3 go package.

Typically the Free Drink packages are not offered on TA's or TP's....at least for U.S. clients. But on the recent westbound TA on the Reflection, we ran into at least one couple who were on "free" beverage package.

We had a beverage package on our Transatlantic in April 2013. Since sometime afterwards, the beverage packages have not been allowed for any transatlantics and transpacifics that I have seen, while the prices have risen significantly. Some cruises considered to be "repositioning cruises" have not been eligible for the beverage package promotions either.

Our November 1, 2013 TA on the Reflection offered the 123 Promo for a period of time.

I think it was the first time that it was offered that included TAs. The UK seems to get better offers (drink package wise) on TAs

Had the drink package on an April 2013 TA and a again on a 10/2013 transpacific booked both as soon as they were released. Since the nothing I have seen include the beverage package for a TA or TP.

We recently booked a repositioning cruise to South America. We noticed the one for 2014 didn't offer the perk, but the one for 2015 did. We booked 2015. Shortly afterwards our cruise did not offer it any more. Felt lucky! We got the drink package and the free grats from Celebrity. Our TA threw in the obc.
