rkacruiser Posted December 7, 2014 #185 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Very unusual that they all are moving out so quickly and relatively close on time. Flights must have been on time and delivery of supplies must have been on time, too.

rkacruiser Posted December 7, 2014 #194 Share Posted December 7, 2014 And, yes, the new master is Captain Edward G. van Zaane. Thank you for confirming this. I sailed with Captain van Zaane on Rotterdam V in 1996 and again in 2007 and 2008 on the Amsterdam. I have great respect for him, both as a ship's Master as well as a Captain that, while reserved, was willing to engage in conversation with his guests. Mumsysailor Posted December 7, 2014 #195 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Really out of focus close ups. I'd be disappointed if I'd booked a wave I think.

Rare kazu Posted December 7, 2014 #198 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Really out of focus close ups. I'd be disappointed if I'd booked a wave I think. We had some good ones - perhaps the ships were moving too fast? gator65 did a bit better :) It's still fun to spot them and wish them a great cruise. Off to finish off the lamb for dinner. enjoy everyone. Thanks Chief for the thread and to Lou and Dave for the webcam. And to all of you for the company :)
