Out to sea! Posted January 25, 2015 #152 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Request for your room service order to be expedited for a dietary restriction. You'll have it within ten minutes. So, what kind of dietary restriction has a time limit?
Out to sea! Posted January 25, 2015 #153 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Has anybody brought back any food from port onto the ship do they allow this? Prepackaged foods (such as candy or a bag of chips) is allowed. Fresh fruits, meats and such are not allowed.
Out to sea! Posted January 25, 2015 #154 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Absolutely agree with this! If they don't want folks to use it, why offer it in the first place. So as to offer a perceived benefit.

amberxob Posted January 25, 2015 #158 Share Posted January 25, 2015 I wish carnival would offer!!!! 1. The calzones that were on the old pizza menus back in like 2005 yummmmy! 2. I wish carnival offered some sort of preferred beach list on the fun times for port days. (Back because i had this sight i just went off what the taxi told me and that didnt lead me to the best beaches) 3. Crafts for kids on RCI in the conference room the had crafts set up for kids who were or weren't in the kids program and the whole family could come and do them. It was cute 4. The ice cream sundae bar they used to set up back in 2004/2005. For like 2 hours during seaday i think at the aft ice cream machines they used to set up around 20 topppings to use. It was it the back of the boat only for a few hours many people didnt no about it and it was great! 5. No smoking inside anywhere! 6. Bring back the talent shows!! (Back because i had this sight i just went off what the taxi told me and that didnt lead me to the best beaches) 5. No smoking inside anywhere! The only beaches Carnival recommends are their own...with good reason. I can imagine the flak customer service would take if people didn't appreciate the beach Carnival listed. Carnival tried a no-smoking ship and it failed, and failed miserably. Regardless of "SMOKING ISSUES" Peeps still do it and I wouldn't think that someone in the vacation industry wants to alienate a good portion of their purchasing pool....besides I am sure that the casino company would put their foot down and fast. As you know, Disney doesn't have a casino so its no big deal for them. Edited January 25, 2015 by Sweet Dutch Girl

dudaze11 Posted January 25, 2015 #161 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Here would be my suggestions: 1. Better perks for suite guests 2. Longer hours for pools and hot tubs at night 3. Build more pools on future big ships, two doesn't cut it on the Magic 4. Get rid of the card shufflers at the Black Jack tables 5. Allow one person to order cheers program

PittsburghGirlee Posted January 25, 2015 #165 Share Posted January 25, 2015 I would like the ability to pre order nightly dinner selections for the Main Dining Room from your TV in your room with your arrival time and it be ready when you arrive. I am not one that likes to spend 1 1/2 hours in the dining room.

Tutontow Posted January 26, 2015 Author #168 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Sorry, but I disagree with that as my wife is a diabetic and does not need to evenly time her meals. It depends on what medicine you take http://diabetes.niddk.nih.gov/DM/PUBS/eating_ez/index.aspx#eat Also many diets for weight loss (I know you are on a cruise, good luck) require you to eat at the same time every day. One last thing, some medicine has to be taken one hour before or one hour after a meal so in order to take your medicine at the same time every day you have to eat at the same time every day. ccruisequeen Posted January 26, 2015 #169 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Absolutely agree with this! If they don't want folks to use it, why offer it in the first place. My other wishes: ~ Actually being able to control the A/C in our cabin. It is way too warm for me to get a comfy night's sleep especially with the thick comforter. We just got off the Getaway today and not only could I get my a/c nice & cold, but it also had a quick cool button. The room would get cold in under five minutes! Loved it! ~ Smaller Past Guest Parties. The last several parties that we've attended were all packed to the brim. Some folks were standing due to lack of seating. Getting a drink was a mission. Sail on the imagination and inspiration. They are plenty cold, especially on the Empress deck. I still cruise for Warm Chocolate Melting Cake (with 2 sugar-free vanilla ice-creams)

Rare missync Posted January 27, 2015 #171 Share Posted January 27, 2015 1) DJ playing GOOD, current music by the pool on sea days. or at least a GOOD band with current music. my last cruise the singer was awful and the music was from 1964. and it wasn't even good music from '64 2) food available from 3-6 in case you want a snack before dinner. nothing too fancy but something would be nice 3) actually enforcing the "no holding pool chairs" rule. I've seen people put stuff down on chairs in prime locations and then leave for 3 hours. I have no problem with you securing a chair and then grabbing food from the buffet but then coming back 20 mins later but 3 hours...come on! enforce the rule! I could probably think of several more but those are top of my list
lido deck larry Posted January 27, 2015 #172 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Gut the MDR and make it into a "food-tainment" style food court. Self service only. Faster and cheaper.. Fire the singing waiters and maitre d.. Use the savings to improve food quality and build an indoor amusement park for the kiddos.
