Rare LHT28 Posted June 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2015 other posts here suggest $80 + If you are going from the airport you could look at the shuttles usually $18 pp other option is rent a car
cb at sea Posted June 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2015 NO TAXI!!! Too expensive! Look into SAS Transportation...google them...and you'll find the rates are much cheaper. Taxis are fine from Ft. Laud. airport to Port Everglades...or MIA to port of Miami...but NOT between the 2 cities!
Underwatr Posted June 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) Super Shuttle says $69 for two passengers from Miami airport to Port Everglades in a shared van. https://www.supershuttle.com/ Edited June 20, 2015 by Underwatr
sail7seas Posted June 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2015 We paid about $85 plus tip to go from Miami Airport to FLL.
NW Native1 Posted June 20, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Via taxi or van. Thanks Last year I flew into FLL for my Breeze cruise. I used SAS Transport from the airport directly to the ship and then back to the airport when the cruise was done. The cost was $15 per person each way. I would gladly to use them again. Underwatr Posted June 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Sorry, I misread the origin and destination in the OP. Super Shuttle charges $40 per person from Fort Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami, plus a $2 fuel surcharge, for a total of $84 for two people. mcfrugal Posted June 21, 2015 #12 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Do you recommend parking at the port of Miami or staying at a nearby hotel and doing the Park and Cruise feature? We haven't cruised in a few years but it appears that the parking fee is more expensive at Port of Miami than it is at Port Canaveral ($20/night)?

Husky61 Posted June 28, 2015 #16 Share Posted June 28, 2015 A matter of personal preference. I wouldn't take a shuttle if it were free. There are plenty of town cars and SUV's that will take you.:)
