The article doesn't really explain but I suppose there is some mutual publicity to gain for each of them.

The more I look at the article and think about it the more it seems that in reality it is just X giving a prize and getting the publicity that goes with it.

 

Having Lisa on is just a part of that advertising.

As the seasons go by on Project Runway, it seems like they are running out of new ideas for what the contestants should create. I would guess that they will ask contestants to either create a new uniform concept for Celebrity crew members, or to create a chic wardrobe for a guest on a Celebrity cruise. They have done beach-wear and vacation-wear challenges before, and they have also done challenges for work uniforms, so I would assume that this will be similar.
