luvscruising2007 Posted July 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Does anyone have an opinion? Sounds like a nice local place to have breakfast.

Rare crewsweeper Posted July 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Dania Beach (FLL). Had dinner there a couple of years ago. Should have gone to LeTub:eek: Service was horrendous and food a little worse. They're living on 3D hype. Breakfast might be different. But Lester's would be a better diner if that's what you're after.
brunello22 Posted July 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2015 It's OK, nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to have a meal there.
fishywood Posted July 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) Reply above 100% accurate, especially recommendation of Lester's as a better alternative. But if you plan on going to Grampa's the morning of your cruise get there early; still long waits Saturday and Sunday mornings. (Though props for getting the name correct: last time this restaurant came up half a dozen posts called it "Grandpa's" and if you are looking for Yelp reviews you will find most of them posted under various area businesses with "Grandpa" in their name ) Edited July 16, 2015 by fishywood
luvscruising2007 Posted July 16, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Thanks, everyone. I think we will find another restaurant. We really aren't picky, but do like good service and good food. I will check out Lester's.

capriccio Posted July 17, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Another diner alternative for those staying in Fort Lauderdale is the Floridian on Las Olas. It is has a funky decor, good service and is especially well known for its breakfasts (which is all I've ever had there so I can't speak to the other meals).
