when we had a dinner package that included Izumi we got a $20 credit ( $5 for the cover charge and $15 towards a la carte items). this easily covered most combo meal prices

OP I am glad you asked this question as it was something I was interested in.

We are going to Izumi as part of a group half of which have BOGOF coupons.

We wanted to use our BOGO in Izumi or Sabor on Allure in June. They wouldn't let us use them in either :(

Izumi and Sabor both have a la carte pricing....not a set charge per person. That's why you can't use your BOGO coupon.

Also, I just learned that Izumi is not owned by Royal Caribbean, but by an individual from New York City. He has partnered with RCCL to bring the restaurant to the ships. That may have some effect on pricing and discounts.

You couldn't on Allure, so I would guess not.

 

We had read (on these boards) that you could do a BOGO in Sabor for their set taster menu. We hoped that we could do the same on Allure and/or with the Hibachi since both have a set price rather than a la Carte pricing.

 

Unfortunately they wouldn't allow it for either.
