Port Change

Recieved an email from Holland America today informing us that the Eurodam will now call at Salerno rather than Naples on the September 15, 2016 cruise due to operational reasons.

The good news is that it's much nearer the Amalfi Coast :), the bad is that it's further from Pompeii and Herculaneum if they're what you wanted to see. :(

And Paestum is nearby, too, which would be amazing. I hope they change our Naples stop to Salerno, too!

I like Naples but wouldn't mind docking at Salerno.

I particularly like Lunch in Naples. :D Great food.

Called there in Salerno in ROTTERDAM.... right after 9/11. Only about 700 passengers on board. The day in Salerno... a first class day!

They must be making lots of changes ... Our June cruise is also changed from Naples to Salerno ... A change I will enjoy!

We were planning on visiting Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello. In looking at the map we will be closer so we don't mind.

Our June 17 2016 on the Oosterdam is the same, I only noticed on the HAL website, I haven't received anything from our TA or HAL
