Just speculations based on crew Facebook post. But crew has been kept in the dark just as much as us so who knows..

Marinetraffic is showing me she is just north of the north cape of Tenerife, on a course of 282* (northwest by west) at 17.7 knots.

I'm not sure where she's headed just responding to that specific banner that was posted.

Might be a problem with the mobile app, looks fine on my laptop.

 

Could also be that she was caught right at the time she was blanketed by the mountain from the two AIS land stations, and the system sort of defaulted.
