Clay&Jenn Posted June 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Does anyone have a current included wine list for Voyager? I will ask for one once we board, but it would be great to have a "preview" of what is currently available. Thanks!
Wendy The Wanderer Posted June 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I think these lists change a lot, from ship to ship, in different parts of the world, and over time. So not sure you'll get a definitive answer on this. When are you cruising?
Rare WesW Posted June 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2016 In April rosepark did a very good job providing posts of the included wines, pls see: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2321797&page=

Clay&Jenn Posted June 7, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Bill, That is so funny!!! We were laughing so hard, but just reading the list gave me a headache! I must say however, I would rank Champipple above the Jackaroo we had on one cruise! ha ha Wes, That is perfect! Thank you so much. We are on this month, so I am sure there will be some carryover. Now I am prepared--and excited! Thanks for the fun and quick responses. Happy cruising to all!
Clay&Jenn Posted June 7, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Just gave the included list a look, and I believe it is for Silversea. Very nice list, wish I had asked about that before our last cruise on Silver Explorer, I had no idea the selection was so extensive! I hope Regent's is comparable. If anyone has a current included list for Regent Voyager, it would be much appreciated. If not, no worries...

flossie009 Posted June 8, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 8, 2016 As a confused Brit, I had to look-up these 'wines' to understand the joke For those similarly confused, or for those wishing to source a supply ;), the website below is useful: http://www.bumwine.com/ Would Regent charge corkage if you took a case of one of these on-board?...........or would they just confiscate it and use it to clean the deck-crew's paint brushes?
Rare WesW Posted June 8, 2016 #10 Share Posted June 8, 2016 (edited) Clay&Jenn, sorry about mixing Silversea's included wines for Regent's--have SS first on my mind since we have a November crossing booked with them. Plan to enjoy Regent's complimentary wines (latest list was posted by Travelcat2 about a year ago) on our Voyager Auckland to Hong Kong cruise in January. Pls see below. One red we enjoyed in Prime 7 a few years ago is not listed below--hope it is still available in P7, Cline Cashmere (delightful medium to full bodied Red). #33 Report Post Old April 4th, 2015, 07:41 AM Travelcat2's Avatar Travelcat2 Travelcat2 is offline 10,000+ Club Next - the included wine list. Clay&Jenn Posted June 8, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted June 8, 2016 Wes, you are the best! I hope we run into you on a cruise so I can thank you properly in person! You other guys are killing me! I will be laughing all day... and then when I get on the cruise I probably will not be able to keep a straight face when they ask which wine I prefer. Wonder what the response would be if I asked for a 1993 Ripple...

Travelcat2 Posted June 10, 2016 #15 Share Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) Does anyone remember Boones Farm wine? If you are craving it, here is a link http://www.boonesfarm.net/. Personally, I prefer Ripple because it has bubbles. Just remembered Lancers' Rose. It was a "classy" wine in the day! Emperor Norton Posted June 10, 2016 #17 Share Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) There's always Billy Dee Williams favorite Colt. 45, but that skews more towards the King Cobra/Mickeys Wide Mouth side of the vineyard. Or you could try its more upscale liquor cousin - Macallan 25 with Mountain Dew, shaken and served over fresh ice. Rare Zqueeze1 Posted June 10, 2016 #18 Share Posted June 10, 2016 As a poor college student, Mad Dog was our preferred drink. However, Four Lokos is about as low as one can go. Z and TB
Mudhen Posted June 10, 2016 #19 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Is Four Locos related to Four Roses? Sounds like it could be.....However I vote for "Night Train, It gets you there" and at bottom of label it mentions that "no grape product was used in production".....oh, that makes me feel better....no grape was harmed!!!! GIGGLE!

sbalax Posted June 11, 2016 #23 Share Posted June 11, 2016 All-- We'll be doing our first Regent cruise in August. I've been checking the menus and wine lists on the RSSC website and notice some are listed as "Reserve Wines". What does that mean? A charge? If so, how much? Thanks in advance. We did our first Crystal cruise in January and the mark has been set VERY high. Frank in wet and cool SBA:cool:
Travelcat2 Posted June 11, 2016 #24 Share Posted June 11, 2016 Yes - Reserve Wines have a cost associated with them (the cost varies - from around $70 to a few hundred - some could be lower - some higher). It will be interesting to learn what you think of Regent as I believe it is quite different than Crystal (we have not sailed on Crystal due to the small suite size and the fact that they do not have true open dining in the evening). What ship will you be sailing on?
sbalax Posted June 12, 2016 #25 Share Posted June 12, 2016 Travelcat-- Thank you for the information. As expected, an upcharge. We will be on Voyager 24 August Southampton to Stockholm. We really enjoyed our cruise to Antarctica on Crystal. It was nice to never have to pull out our card. Shore Excursions were not, of course, included but we only did one -- in The Falklands. I'm curious about your comment about "True Open Seating". We had no problem eating where and when we wanted. A couple of nights it took some flexibility but it always worked out.
