Chops question.....

The crab cake is excellent. If you're a chocolate lover then you must get the mud pie for dessert. It's wonderful.

Sorry to jump on board here but is there somewhere that I could view the menu and photos of the food? (I know I could google and find the menu but I'm wondering if there's somewhere on the boards here or on the RCI website that I've missed that would also show he photos).

Chops sounds great - in fact many of the restaurants do. Thinking we'll try one of them on Oasis in Oct. Can't wait! Will be our second cruise. First was Freedom - LOVED it!

I was preparing this video and going to put it on my review thread (Serenade of the Seas 7N Baltic cruise - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2367291) but since you asked, I shall share the video link here first!

We had Chops twice during our recent cruise and everything was good. Here is a video of the first dinner at Chops.

Do you save anything $$ by booking it pre cruise ???

Not if you are booking a single dinner. Also, I've seen them offer discounts on board for specialty restaurants on the first night.

If you plan to book multiple specialty dinners, you could do this:

Not for us. In fact, we booked a $100 per adult package upon embarkation. This $100 gave us 5 dinners at 3 speciality restaurants on board the Serenade (Chops, Giovanni's, Izumi). Worked out to be $20 per adult per dinner. I thought it was a decent deal. (Of course this meant that we skipped most of MDR dinnners)

Thank you so much for sharing this! I paused it and could see the menu easily. It all looked delicious! I'm persuaded that this is one to try.

Also, a Baltic cruise is on my to-do list so I'll definitely be checking out your review. Thanks for posting her link. [emoji1360][emoji4]
