We are Gold, and got Godiva chocolates (4 count), 4 chocolate covered strawberries, and a bottle of wine. I wasn't sure which was the gift. Maybe we just got lucky and got delivered someone else's stuff? Whatever the case, the screw top bottle of wine turned out pretty good.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm still Silver, while my husband is Gold....when we've been on the exact same cruises. Apparently Latitude can't figure it out either. I demand my 8 Godiva chocolates!

Did you look at your cruising history, maybe one of the cruises got left off yours or they didn't apply the same points to one of your cruises. I would definitely email NCL and find out why.

I too should have been gold right now. I took a cruise in 2008 to Alaska on NCL Sun and it is not in my history. Unfortunately they cannot do anything about it since I don't have the proof that I was on it. I mean have pictures from the cruise and took excursions that I bought from the ship, so I know I am not dreaming LOL. They said sorry cant do anything about it. So I just let it go.

I was on the phone again with them last week, but waited so long I had to hang up. I haven't personally checked my history. I will do that. I'm phoning again tomorrow. Of course, the thought that my husband might have snuck off on a cruise of his own has crossed my mind...:cool:hmmm....but I'm pretty sure he's been present and accounted for.

Checking your history against your husbands should show where there is an issue. Let us know how it works out. Edited by NLH Arizona

We are 1 point away from Gold. At Christmas we are doing B2B from Barcelona on Norwegian Spirit. I shall wait in anticipation in Barcelona to receive my 4 Godiva Chocolates at the commencement of the second cruise . It's double points for booking more than 9 months out so I should be Platinum when the cruise finishes. I can't imagine what awaits me for being Platinum at the start of future NCL cruises .

Platinum perks are pretty decent. Including 2 meals for two at Ke bistro and 2 bottles of wine (assuming there are two of you).

Wine in stateroom.

Free laundry.

Plus a few more.

Don't get your hopes up,,,, welcome gift, Chocolate-Covered Strawberries and Sparkling Wine are delivered as one per stateroom. So you only get 1 box of chocolates :(

I'm only Gold, and between the M&G, and meeting crew, and casino staff,

and Latitudes party, and, and......

Everyday there was 2-3 plates of Something in our cabin, from this person,

or that person.

Choc dipped Strawberries, fruit & cheese, chocolates, pastries, wine, Caviar,

yes, Caviar with some mini sandwiches.

What the heck?

And WHO did they think we were? LOL

Of course nightly chocolates on the bed.

It got quite comical..... What the heck would they bring us plates of next?

My last cruise on the Jewel, I asked 5 times for my platinum welcome gift and never received it. Don't know why.....

Interesting, when was your most recent Jewel cruise ? Our last 3 NCL cruises were all on the Breakaway - in 2014, among other perks, a 8 pc. Godiva box. Changed to a 8 pc. Godiva in 2015. This May, got none - the sparkling bubble was in the room and still got 2 bottles of wine when we dine in LeBistro.

Didn't bothered to ask Room Steward or the Latitude liaison onboard about the missing/never delivered Godiva, as it was always placed in the stateroom prior to our arrival. Chocolate-covered strawberries (4 pc.) was there in our stateroom, like prior years - as was our "free" Drink Cards while we play :D

As for the nightly chocolate mint on the bed, that's something truly we don't care for - but, heck - one of our grandniece loved them - while it last. Her dentist, not so much.

With no water or soda to wash it down.

Look for someone on your Roll Call to barter & exchange bottled water with your freebies' date=' like the sparkling bubbles or even the complimentary bottled wine if you are Platinum ... maybe ?? ;) Coming up with a fair valuation of how to exchange or trade them would be fun in itself.

The big question is our own stash of bottled Ginger Ale - "Deal or No Deal", LOL.

Even if you had proof of a cruise in 2008 it's not going to matter: IMPORTANT UPDATE: Effective February 1, 2016, we can only credit your Latitudes account with missing points for cruises taken within the last 12 months.

I would think that since she had already been questioning it that they should consider adding the cruise if she can find proof of the cruise. What I would do if I were her is check my credit card statements. I save all my credit card statements for 7-10 years so if I had a purchase in 2008 I would at least check to see if I still had the statement even though that is a little beyond the number of years I usually save.
