Unless this action is taken in a British court (which it isn't) then the case law in other countries is not a consideration in local law, since the laws themselves are different.

Probably. The issue is if the cruise before yours has an outbreak then it extends to yours. But this was the first of five cruises we had experienced it.

 

Unfortunately, I've had a number of cruises where we start out on restrictions due to the cruise before us having an outbreak.

 

That said, it's still better than having the outbreak on the cruise we are on!

Oh my! The bath!

My immune system is the opposite. It is hyperactive and causing many significant issues and seems the cause of a dvt in an unusual place. And that was just the beginning. So it will shortly be brought to heel through some nasty drugs.

I have witnessed many people not washing their hands, sometimes I say something, other times I do not (like at the pub). When cruising it is not as prevalent but it still occurs, so I do comment as most times people will not be as confrontational and will just be embarrassed.

Thanks TripleJ. I was doing a tally of specialists I've seen since February. 3 Consultants at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hematologist, Urologist, Nephrologist, Rheumatologist and Dermatologist. Just for a dvt in the neck. 4 CT scans of various parts, 5 ultrasounds of various parts, chest and brain xrays, multiple urine tests, barium meal, cytoscope, prob a kidney biopsy and buckets of blood tests. For a silly little lump that has major significance. My immune system is attacking me. My medicare safety limit this year already met.

 

But I am still going to cruise!

Thanks TripleJ. I was doing a tally of specialists I've seen since February. 3 Consultants at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hematologist, Urologist, Nephrologist, Rheumatologist and Dermatologist. Just for a dvt in the neck. 4 CT scans of various parts, 5 ultrasounds of various parts, chest and brain xrays, multiple urine tests, barium meal, cytoscope, prob a kidney biopsy and buckets of blood tests. For a silly little lump that has major significance. My immune system is attacking me. My medicare safety limit this year already met.

 

But I am still going to cruise!

Good luck, fun isn't it. I used to hit my safety net on both Medicare and the medication one, in the first three months. I hope they get an answer for you soon.

 

One of the great things about cruising even when your crook you can still have an enjoyable time and Mrs a Gut can do her thing and still check on me as often as she wants.

I try not to watch other peoples bathroom habits when in public toilets. It is not in my interests to observe others. Having said that you are aware that those hand dryers in public bathrooms are extremely unhygienic? Basically those machines suck up all the urine and excrement vapour and dissipate it in a nice warm patch all over your hands. Not to mention opening the door when you leave with your hand negates the purpose of washing them to start with.

 

I would never judge people based on what I see them doing or not doing because it is what they do when you are not looking that could be proving you completely wrong.

You don't have to keep them under close observation but when I see someone come out of a regular cubicle in the ladies and head straight for the door instead of the handbasins it's fairly obvious they aren't going to wash their hands! :eek:

I can easily watch people go directly from the facilities to the door rather than the basins, these people I do pull up. As for the Air dryers, I use paper or the cloth towels and use one to open the door as this is one spot that is bound to have noro on it.:(
